Some call it the "heart", some call it the "buckle". A quote from KFAX News: "Joplin is centrally situated in the buckle of the Bible Belt" (link), so either way, Joplin represents the "center-point" of christian America's bible-belt.

Great point Angelus that the Haggai 2:8 claims all silver and gold as the Lord's. Like I said in an earlier post, this movement/claim of Christ returned/2nd coming has dotted all I's and crossed all T's.

The thing I have a problem with is Rev 1:7, "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him..."

I understand the bit about the internet being "the cloud," it's the fact that not many actually have seen this "return."

Keep in mind, the bible does not say "all eyes will see him at once". Quite literally, by using the Internet, eventually all eyes will see him. If his appearance was a one time event, people who were sleeping, in surgery, working underground, etc, all would have missed him. By doing it this way, prophecy can actually be fulfilled.

Okay, we explained the money thing, and it's biblically correct. Read the thread.

And second, there's family history information, newspaper headlines, and even a picture of him with Oprah on the ra-el.org website, so I'd have to say there is indeed proof he's a real person.

I completely agree... But from what I hear, he's just so thoroughly disgusted with how people are reacting, that he's really considering "turning up the heat" so to speak.

I'm going to tell you something that was related to me in an email from one of the knights. He didn't say it was private, but either way, it bears repeating.

We were discussing how people are just viciously attacking Ra-El right and left online, for no reason, and how he would sometimes be "inconsolable" (knight's words). He told me that Joplin was discussed days in advance, and after he "pulled the trigger on Joplin" (again, his words), Ra-El was "messed-up" (quote). I cannot tell you that I've taken his DNA, and cross checked it with the shroud of turin, but whoever he is, it's hurting him to do this... and that seems like the Jesus I was taught about.
