I hadn't heard of this concept before I received this book as I don't watch Dragons Den.... but the buzz around this book was interesting so I got one.
I'm glad that I did. Its a lovely book, well produced and illustrated with great recipes and ideas. The idea is to produce Tea Parties, in a traditional and tasty way. The book is divided into times of day-Brunch, Tea etc and provides appropriate lovely recipes. The style of the book is good too - it tells you how to decorate a room, make invitations, play games and dress yourself in vintage style. There are invitations to photocopy and explanations of how to make hats and aprons and even descriptions of how to "do" your hair. Its FUN!! The recipes are also really good and really easy to follow....some are maybe not to modern tastes,(Kipper products etc) BUT I don't think thats a bad idea. The idea is for retro British fun and thats a great concept. Other recipes are very tasty- Decadent chocolate cake etc YUMMY!! So a lovely book and concept....I shall be having a tea party as soon as possible.... Overall, a lovely book, GREAT recipes and you could buy this as a present for yourself with a second for a friend....

A beautifully laid out and stunningly photographed unique, vintage inspired book. With different and unusual recipes which are delicious, particularly the Asparagus Egg Custards with parmesan wafers and the Coddled eggs, ingenious and delectable! It has all the information and tips you could need to host your own vintage inspired tea party which you definitely will want to do after reading through this book. Looks good on your coffee table or more practically in your kitchen as you'll definitely want to make as many of these yummy treats as you can! The Vintage Tea Party Book

If you want to have the perfect english experience I would recommend you to buy this book. Also the vintage tea parties are unique experience which no one else is offering, a very original and brilliant idea! go and get your copy...
