The box is easy to assemble and use, even though the instructions are initially hidden on a flap inside it! The card it is made from is as described in the Az blurb, and has a nice robust feel to it.
Open it out square, push down the folded-up-inside bottom (to reveal the instructions underneath), push down the other flap for the inner base, et voila - box. Then the ends need to be popped away from the handle flaps, and folded in, and finally the front and back sides are folded in, and the two handle flaps on the last side are tucked into the handle slots in the ends. All this is done by following the numbers, 1,2,3,... etc
With practice this assembly might take maybe ten seconds, most of this spent popping the handles without tearing or putting a crease in the wrong place. Easy.
The extra layers formed in the handle slots by the various foldings make it quite comfortable to carry this small and compact box even when fully loaded. I was able to fit thirty-eight 384 page hardbacks inside, making a load of 24 kilos. For the total weight add 0.65 kilos to this for the box.
The internal dimensions are 30cms high by 30cms front-to-back by 42cms wide. Neither this essential information nor the weight was shown in the product description at the time of writing this review.
The shipping carton for the five pieces has external dimensions of 75cms by 54cms by 10cms, a convenient shape if you need to store some stock of these prior to use. One opens a 10cm flap on the 54cm end to draw out the bundle of flat-pack boxes held together with a baling strap.
These boxes work nicely because they can be re-used, or even stored flat again in the original shipping container, and seem quite adequate for a domestic or light office environment. However, I do not think they would cope with being slid around the concrete floor of a warehouse.

A 'See more Technical Details' link has been added to the product's Technical Details since I wrote the review. Click on it to see the Fellowes specification for the size. This has been added for their other boxes too.

Alas, the days of walking into your local supermarket to grab a bunch of free boxes whenever you needed them are long gone!
Which means that whenever you need to move/store any of your possessions then you've probably got little choice other than to fork out cash for some cardboard boxes.
Still, at least you could do worse than a pack or three of these - they're stupidly easy to assemble, sturdy (always a bonus!), and once you've followed the instructions then the lids don't need any tape to secure them in place, which is handy. In my opinion they're also pretty much the right size - take my advice and buy medium boxes rather than large ones. Mediums are easier to carry, and the danger with large boxes is the temptation to cram them with so much stuff that they become way too heavy to move.
As to value for money, I'll leave that for you to decide - if the thought of having to fork out cash for a cardboard box makes you grind your teeth, then join the club!

Boxes are fantastic to use, easy to assemble.
However one of my boxes came damaged- it was probably defective on production.
As this item is purchased from Amazon, I can't really contact Amazon EU S.a.r.L to complain about this...(this whole order just does not appear on the 'Leave Feedback' option)
I'm in a hurry I can't wait for a replacement either...So bummer as it was really pricey :(
