I have had a pair of these boots for over 3 months. This is the second pair and as yet I have not had to wear them. If you have to wear safety boots and drive it can be a pain. These boots are fairly light weight and do allow you to bend at the ankles. They are not as bulky as other boots I have tried and fit very well. I found the first pair comfortable right from the start with no breaking in and they are very good at keeping your feet dry.

After reading a few reviews on this boot i bought a half size smaller than my normal size , as was sugested in a review.
This was a mistake as now i've got to return them ( to small ! ).
However the reason i've marked a low star rating is, the right boots steel toe cap is tight and rubs on my foot, where as the left does not.
All this said the boots themselves are of good quality/value and i will try a bigger size.

Update: Returned boots and recieved bigger size literally the next day, absolutely amazing.
Tried them on and fitted with no rubbing.Very very easy return policy.

Great pair of boots that are really comfortable and didn't need to be 'worn in'. Easily as good as some that are 3 times the price. They're sturdy and well made and I've road tested them in the wet and my feet kept dry, so all seems good so far. Though probably wouldn't suit if you've got narrow feet, as they're quite roomy.

Bought a few of these now. Really comfy, l'm a courier and on my feet for 12hrs a day at least, so I need grip for my safety and boots that don't rub are an added bonus. Boots never last with me doing 180 parcels a day but if I get a few months out of them, l'm happy and with the reasonable price too. I've had dearer.....and lasted half the time of these boots.

I ordered a size 10 (which my feet normally are) but the boots are about half or a size bigger so I have to wear thick socks or an insole. Otherwise they are very comfortable and don't need wearing in. I've got them a bit scuffed and they seem to mark easily but that's not really a problem for the use I put them to. For the price they are very good value.

25/04/2013, Since the above review one of the lace hooks broke off. I tie the laces round the ankle now. They still look alright though and they have withstood a fair bit of scuffing so far.

I bought them for my partner who will use them for a lot of outdoor work he does (felling trees, general garden maintenance, etc). They are virtually waterproof and really sturdy (toe cap protected). He likes to buy two sizes up to accommodate two pairs of socks, but when I read the reviews on Amazon on these boots, they suggested they were very roomy and hence bought the one size up required instead. Turns out this was a perfect choice, and he is thrilled with them. They were in the sale, and I feel I've bought a very well made product for a real bargain. Great.
