The Library's onsite bookshop, located in Palmer Hall between Mr Tulk and the foyer, is run by Readings, an independent bookseller with six locations across Melbourne.
The shop stocks an extensive range of fiction and nonfiction titles, as well as cards and notebooks. You will find books co-published by the State Library of Victoria, such as Bottersnikes and other lost things by Juliet O'Conor, Beyond reasonable drought by the Many Australian Photographers Group, and Sunday's kitchen by Lesley Harding and Kendrah Morgan.
You will also find current books discussed at Library events – see What's on for details.
If you can't find what you're looking for, the helpful staff can order it in for you. You can also browse and buy from the Readings online shop.
State Library of Victoria Foundation members receive a 10 per cent discount on full-priced books on presentation of their Foundation membership card when purchasing at Readings State Library.
