State Library of Victoria alumni

State Library of Victoria alumni is a social and professional network that encourages former Library staff to stay in contact with each other and the Library.

Member benefits

Joining our alumni will enable you to renew old friendships and build new relationships with other former Library staff. Benefits for members include:

  • access to special alumni events and programs
  • some borrowing privileges
  • the entitlement to apply for an alumni research fellowship (this will be similar to a Library staff fellowship and offered biennially)
  • regular information about upcoming Library events
  • honorary Foundation membership for a period of time, if you were employed at the Library for ten years or more

We hope some alumni members will be interested in coaching or mentoring current Library staff.
