Book a school visit

Schools can visit the Library by booking a primary, secondary or exhibition-related program or a self-guided visit.

Both programs and self-guided tours must be booked before you bring students to the Library. This allows us to provide information about the visit and helps us manage large groups moving through our spaces.

All programs are run by the education team and held at the Library. Programs complement the VELS and Australian curriculum and many are supported by online education resources.

Booking information

To make a booking, contact the education programs unit:

When you contact us please indicate your preferred program, date, time, number of students and year level.

Once a suitable time is booked, you'll receive an email containing details of your booking. You'll need to reply within five working days to confirm the booking.

Please let staff know at the time of booking if you have any access requirements.
