The State Library of Victoria co-publishes a variety of attractive and appealing publications that showcase the Library's extraordinarily diverse collection. These are available from the Readings bookshop in the Library's Palmer Hall and online.
These books and journals have been produced through collaborations between the State Library of Victoria and a range of publishing houses. Covering subjects from the history of book design to children's literature to contemporary documentary photography, they draw on research based on the collection, and many are lavishly illustrated with items from the Library’s collections of pictures, maps, manuscripts and rare books.
To find out more about these publications, browse the list below, or visit the Readings bookshop in the Library or the Readings website.
