National Treasures from Australia's Great Libraries is a major national touring exhibition. It is an initiative of the National Library and the State and Territory Libraries through the Council of Australian State Libraries (CASL).

The exhibition is supported by Principal Sponsor AAMI and Major Sponsors Qantas, Herald Sun (in Victoria), Hoyts, Animal Logic, Sofitel, SBS Television and (in Victoria) ABC Radio 774.

National Treasures is assisted by Visions of Australia and was made possible by Art Indemnity Australia, an Australian Government program through which the Commonwealth acts as insurer in case of any loss or damage to an indemnified exhibition.

National Treasures from Great Australian Libraries is managed by the National Library of Australia in Canberra, where it opened on 3 December 2005. The exhibition will travel to every Australian capital city, concluding in August 2007.
