The French Laundry gardener Aaron Keefer left, walks up to assist Albert Mayr from the restaurant's kitchen staff as he picks squash blossoms from the 3-acre garden for tonights menu. This small plot supplies 30 percent of the restaurant's produce, as well as acting as a test site for vegetables. Right now, they're growing root vegetables from the Andes. Wednesday August 18, 2010.
