ALAMEDA POINT FLEA MARKET

Sunday, December 5, 2010

Click on the link to the site for times, admission, location, etc.

Alternate ways to get to the Alameda Point Flea Market

For those who don't drive or don't have a car, there are alternative ways to get to the flea market. I did some digging (and calling) and found that there is ferry service that goes to within walking distance of the flea market's parking lot. Once you arrive at the Alameda ferry terminal head west for about 1/4 mile. You can then wait for the free parking lot shuttle service to take you to the entrance, or walk through the lot which is huge (3/4 of a mile to the gate).

Here is a link to the ferry's website. Check for the site for times and fares.

If you decide to go by BART, go to the downtown Oakland Station, and catch an AC Transit number 63 bus. Here's a link for AC Transit information.

Michaan's Auctions

While in Alameda, after the flea market you may want to check out Michaan's auctions.Check their website for the details, including preview times and location.
