On any given day you can see about half the tables filled with winemakers and others in the wine business, and owners Giovanni and Donna Scala know them all. For 18 years the restaurant has been part of the heartbeat of the valley. There are two large patios, one with a fireplace, overlooking vineyards, an expansive garden and a fountain. Inside there's a fireplace, the kitchen sequestered behind glass and a separate pizza oven. Pastas and pizza shine, but so does anything from the grill or wood oven.
Specialties: Fritto misto; beet and green bean salad; pizza; any pasta, including fettuccine alla Lina (porcini and sausage ragout); seared salmon; roast half chicken; grilled burger; Bostini trifle.
