Russell Brand reveals photo of Katy Perry without make-up

Russell Brand risked the wrath of his glamorous wife Katy Perry on New Year's day- after snapping a picture of the pop star without make-up and posting it on Twitter.

Brand uploaded the photo to his blog on Saturday morning after catching his bleary-eyed spouse looking pale after appearing to have just woken up. (See the photo here.)

Perry looked unhappy to be caught on camera but that didn't stop the comedian from showing the photo to his 1.7 million followers - although the picture was soon removed from Brand's account.

It isn't the first time the couple has shared sneaky snaps with fans online - Brand threatened to post embarrassing photos on the Internet of his then-fiancee back in May as revenge after Perry dubbed him a "bridezilla" and showed off a picture of him wearing a wedding dress.

Brand admitted at the time he was too scared to post intimate photos of Perry for fear of a backlash.

He said, "I'm trying to think of a way to get revenge. There are photos of her on my phone that could go nuclear. I'm so tempted but I feel I'm going to need my testicles for the future."

The couple married in October.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez romance heats up in St. Lucia

Justin Bieber's rumored romance with Selena Gomez is heating up - the teen couple has been snapped appearing to vacation together in St. Lucia over the weekend.

The young stars have repeatedly denied reports they are dating since they were spotted enjoying a breakfast date in December and last week, Bieber's representative was forced to dismiss a photo seemingly depicting the pair kissing as a fake.

But the "Baby" hitmaker will struggle to explain his way out of the latest images - a set of pictures surfaced online on Monday appearing to show the couple embracing and kissing on board a luxury yacht in the Caribbean, where they were vacationing with friends.

However, Bieber is unlikely to be unveiling all about his love life anytime soon - he recently brushed off speculation about a romance with 18-year-old Gomez, telling MTV.com, "She's really cool. She's an amazing person. I think that people are always gonna be interested in my personal life... but I gotta keep some things to myself. I'm just having fun being a teenager."

Hugh Hefner's Disney-themed proposal

Hugh Hefner made his Christmas Day proposal to Playboy Playmate Crystal Harris extra special by incorporating her favorite movie, "The Little Mermaid."

The 84-year-old publishing mogul popped the question to his 24-year-old fiancee over the holidays and he personalized the proposal by handing Harris her ring in an unusual box.

Hefner explains, "I got her a little music box with the 'Mermaid' theme to it, and it just looked like the perfect size and the perfect place to be the ring box. So when she started unwrapping that gift, I reached over and wound it so it was playing music while she discovered what was inside."

Harris adds to People.com, "We were up in the bedroom and my favorite movie is 'The Little Mermaid,' so he had the ring in a 'Little Mermaid' box, and that was so special. I opened it and the first thing he said to me was, 'I hope it fits!'"

And the Playboy founder insists the massive age-gap between the couple doesn't matter: "(She) is so totally devoted. Her priorities are pretty much our relationship, No. 1 and No. 2 and 3, and you don't always find that. Despite the age disparity, the truth of the matter is we have a great deal in common, we really complement one another, we have a wonderful time together, and I love her."

Pamela Anderson's train terror over fan arrest

Pamela Anderson was left shaken on Sunday evening when U.K. police arrested a man who allegedly became violent after trying to confront the blonde beauty on a train in Liverpool, England.

The former "Baywatch" star was set to leave Liverpool Lime Street railway station to travel to London when an overzealous fan tried to board the same carriage.

British Transport Police officials were alerted and tried to convince the man to leave, but after the run-in turned nasty, cops were forced to use pepper spray to restrain the suspect.

Photographs of the incident show four officers carrying the suspect away from the train while a terrified Anderson looks on.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said a 21-year-old was taken into custody "after an altercation took place in which a police officer was assaulted. The man became verbally abusive to rail staff (as) he was asked to produce a ticket. British Transport Police attend(ed) and the man became violent and assaulted an officer and was arrested. Officers were forced to use capture spray as the man resisted arrest."

A representative for the star wrote on Twitter, "Pamela Anderson is safe and sound on train back to the English capital - no problems with her safety due to excellent security personnel."

Michael Lohan commissions All-4-One singer for Lindsay track

Lindsay Lohan's estranged father Michael has commissioned a singer from the Grammy-winning group All-4-One to write a song dedicated to the troubled actress.

Delious Kennedy has revealed he's agreed to put pen to paper for a tune he calls "My Rose," a dance club track about the "Mean Girls" star.

Michael Lohan says the song is about a "talented and beautiful young lady who has grown in our hearts, she is badgered by paparazzi, cut down by the media," adding, "She will wilt, but when she falls, I will always be there to pick her up and put her petals back on."

Kennedy, who says he recorded the song last week, gave TMZ.com a preview to the lyrics: "The girl is like a rose garden. She falls back, springs forth and grows stronger with thorns."

It's not the first time the Lohans have aired out family issues in music. Lindsay debuted her own track, "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)," back in 2005.

The actress, who has been in and out of jail and rehab over the last year, is currently serving out a three-month stint at the Betty Ford clinic after failing two mandatory drug tests and is rumored to have reached out to her estranged father when he was spotted visiting the center in November.

Michael Lohan has since confirmed they are making good progress in fixing their former family feud.

Rupert Everett forced out of Hollywood after coming out as gay

Rupert Everett has become the latest star to speak openly about the downside of coming out, revealing he was shunned by Hollywood after he declared he was gay.

The "My Best Friend's Wedding" star, 51, admits he had to flee Hollywood after his big reveal two decades ago - because no one would hire him.

He tells the BBC, "I just never got a job there (in Hollywood), and I never got a job here (in Britain), after (coming out)... I never had another job here for 10 years, probably, and I moved to Europe."

His comments come just days after veteran Richard Chamberlain went public with his regrets about coming out as a gay man.

"The Thorn Birds" star has urged gay actors not to follow in his footsteps - insisting his homosexual admission has damaged his career.

The 76-year-old star revealed his homosexuality in his autobiography, "Shattered Love," published in 2003 and he recently told gay publication The Advocate the confession wasn't a good career move.

He said, "There's still a tremendous amount of homophobia in our culture. For an actor to be working (at all) is a kind of miracle, because most actors aren't. So it's just silly for a working actor to say, 'Oh, I don't care if anybody knows I'm gay' - especially if you're a leading man.

"Personally, I wouldn't advise a gay leading man-type actor to come out... Despite all the wonderful advances that have been made, it's still dangerous for an actor to talk about that in our extremely misguided culture."
