Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe go public with romance; Kelsey Grammer's New York behavior sparked concern among friends; Holly Madison insists on televised reality TV summit over Hugh Hefner's engagement

Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe go public with romance

Amanda Seyfriend and Ryan Phillippe have lifted the lid off their secret romance after putting on their first public display of affection on the set of the actress' new movie "NOW."

Seyfried, who previously dated her "Mamma Mia!" co-star Dominic Cooper, was first linked to Reese Witherspoon's ex-husband in October after they met at Kate Hudson's Halloween party.

They were caught Christmas shopping together in Hollywood before the holidays and now the new couple has been snapped in a loving embracing during a break on the Los Angeles set of the upcoming sci-fi film.

The photo, taken earlier this week and published on Usmagazine.com, shows the stars smiling and cuddling with Seyfried still in costume, donning a cropped red wig for her role opposite co-star Justin Timberlake.

The pictures emerge a week after Phillippe congratulated Witherspoon on the news of her engagement to Hollywood agent Jim Toth.

The "Cruel Intentions" co-stars divorced in 2007.

Kelsey Grammer's New York behavior sparked concern among friends

Kelsey Grammer's estranged wife Camille has revealed she had an inkling her marriage to the former "Frasier" star was nearing an end when a mutual friend called her to complain about his behavior.

The reality TV star insists she had no idea her marriage was in trouble when Grammer jetted off to New York to embark on a theater career on Broadway - but quickly learned he was misbehaving while she was at home in California looking after the couple's children.

She then started filming hit new show "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" - and that's when the big shock came.

She explains on "The Ellen Degeneres Show," "I found out he wanted out of the relationship during the shooting. A mutual friend called me and said, 'I don't like what he's doing to you and I don't like the timing, because you're still in the middle of shooting a reality show.'

"I called him that night and texted him. No answer from him. I waited for three hours and then he called me and said, 'I don't want to be married anymore.'"

The couple has since filed for divorce and Grammer has become engaged to his girlfriend Kayte Walsh.

The Grammers were married for 13 years.

Holly Madison insists on televised reality TV summit over Hugh Hefner's engagement

Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend Holly Madison is saving her comments about the Playboy boss' Christmas engagement for her reality TV show.

The former Playboy Playmate was heartbroken when Hef tweeted the happy news after 24-year-old model Crystal Harris agreed to be his wife - because she split from the 84 year old in 2008 when he refused to wed her.

But Madison, who was once rumored to be pregnant with Hefner's baby, has refused to let her emotions get the better of her in a premature statement, insisting on a televised sit-down with her ex instead.

The publisher agreed, and the two former lovers' summit at the Playboy Mansion has now been filmed for Madison's TV show "Holly's World."

She tells People.com, "After I heard about it, I wanted to save my feelings for the show. I wanted to confront Hef and just get all my feelings out there rather than make a statement."

The episode will air on E! later this month.

Madison adds, "It was definitely awkward, but good. A lot of people congratulated him on Twitter, but for me, it was such a personal thing. I wanted to go there."

Aretha Franklin: 'My health problem has been resolved'

Aretha Franklin has spoken out about her recent health crisis, insisting "the problem has been resolved."

The soul star was forced to pull out of a series of end-of-year shows in 2010 after falling ill, with many outlets reporting she had been diagnosed with deadly pancreatic cancer.

The 68 year old "R.E.S.P.E.C.T" singer is refusing to go into details about what was wrong - but insists she's fine now.

She tells JET magazine, "I don't have to talk about my health with anybody other than my doctors (but) the problem has been resolved.

"I am not one to do a lot of talking about my personal health or business. There are a lot of people who will talk about anything, as long as there is somebody listening. That's not Aretha."

But the singer has revealed her problems started after she experienced a pain in her side during a concert in Toronto, Canada.

She tells the publication her doctor advised her to have a CAT-scan.

Franklin adds, "Thank God he said that because that unfolded everything, what the problem was and everything.

"If there is anything happening with you that is uncommon and something that you know should not be happening, go to your doctor. Be determined to find out what is going on."

And she'll be forever grateful to friends and fans who wished her well as she was fighting to get well: "I want to thank my fans and friends and supporters who have prayed for me and sent me beautiful cards and flowers."

Howard K. Stern: 'Anna Nicole Smith case destroyed my life'

Anna Nicole Smith's former boyfriend Howard K. Stern has accused prosecutors of "destroying" his life by dragging him to court to face charges relating to the late model's drug habit - calling the last four years "a living hell."

The model/reality TV star passed away in 2007 after suffering an accidental overdose and her prescriptions subsequently became the focus of a criminal investigation involving Stern and two of Smith's doctors.

Late last year, Stern was found guilty on two charges of conspiracy, for giving false names and acting by fraud to obtain prescriptions for Smith, but he fought the convictions and a judge overturned the charges on Thursday.

Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, who was accused of conspiracy charges and unlawfully prescribing a controlled substance, had all but one of her convictions quashed, while the remaining count was reduced to a misdemeanor. She was sentenced to a year of probation and a fine of $100. Another medic, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, was previously cleared.

Stern has now spoken out about the long-running legal battle, calling the case a waste of time and insisting the stress made his life a misery.

He told reporters, "It's been a living hell. From the day Anna passed away, these last four years - there's no way to put it into words how difficult they've been...

"A lot of this was done for publicity. They (prosecutors) didn't care at what cost, they didn't care whose lives they destroyed in the process... This case never should have been brought. It has been four years of my life."

While Stern also revealed he was glad Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Robert Perry acknowledged Smith was not a drug addict, but a victim of chronic pain, adding, "I was looking up in the sky and thinking, she's vindicated."

Notorious B.I.G. murder probe revived

Police in California have reportedly revived the investigation into the murder of rap legend Notorious B.I.G., 13 years after he was gunned down in Los Angeles.

The hip-hop star, real name Christopher Wallace, was shot dead in L.A. in March 1997. An investigation was launched immediately after the fatal shooting but the matter remains unsolved.

Various conspiracy theories have linked his death to the East Coast/West Coast rap rivalry involving former Death Row Records mogul Marion 'Suge' Knight and his top artist Tupac Shakur, who was shot and killed less than a year before Biggie's death.

Officers at the Los Angeles Police Department and the FBI are now said to be actively pursuing new leads relating to the case and working closely with the L.A. County District Attorney's Office, according to CNN.com.

A law enforcement source tells the network the probe was "reinvigorated" months ago as a result of new information.

Amy Winehouse reunites with former lover Reg Traviss?

Amy Winehouse spent New Year's Eve rekindling her romance with ex-boyfriend Reg Traviss, according to a U.K. report.

The "Back To Black" hitmaker moved on from her failed marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil by dating British director Traviss last year.

Despite hailing the filmmaker as her new love, the romance came to an end in August after he was snapped hand-in-hand with his former partner, burlesque dancer Raven Isis Holt.

But Winehouse now appears to be making efforts to revive the relationship - she missed her father Mitch's gig in London over the New Year to spend time with Traviss, according to Britain's The Sun.

The publication reports the pair rang in 2011 together at the singer's apartment in Camden, north London.

Celine Dion refusing to hire a nanny

Celine Dion is refusing to hire a nanny to help take care of her newborn twins as she's determined to raise the boys herself.

The singer gave birth to little Nelson and Eddy at a hospital in Florida in October.

Dion is already mother to nine-year-old son Rene-Charles with her husband Rene Angelil and the twins were conceived after a long battle with fertility treatments.

And although Dion admits she's exhausted from looking after the babies, she is adamant she won't be hiring any help.

She tells French magazine Gala, "I didn't have these children to not take care of them, to give myself to them 200 - 300 percent. I am changing diapers and breastfeeding and that's something where no one can take my place. It's tiring but an intense joy.

"I take things day by day. That's the secret to me. In any case, breastfeeding is more difficult if you are stressed. Sometimes I find myself in comical situations I don't know how to get myself out of. For example, when both are feeding and one has gas while the other is burping, I don't know which position to adopt!"

But Dion concedes she is grateful to have her mother Therese and sister Linda on hand to help her with the "housework, cooking or doing the shopping."

Oprah Winfrey 'grateful' for stellar start to TV network

Oprah Winfrey is relieved her new TV network launched to successful viewing figures this month, because she was dreading an "embarrassing" ratings flop.

The TV titan has quit her hugely successful self-titled daytime talk show to oversee the running of her new channel, OWN, which she launched on January 1 after three years of planning.

The network attracted 13 million viewers during its first three days on air, and Winfrey admits she's just thankful she wasn't shamed by a lackluster public response.

She says, "I am grateful we weren't embarrassed and that people came (to watch).

"At this point in my life, I am not trying to get everybody. I am only trying to get the people who want to hear... There is a critical mass of people - we haven't found them all - who want different programming."

And Winfrey, often dubbed the most powerful woman on TV, can't believe how far she's come since her poverty-stricken upbringing in Mississippi.

She adds, "It was not until we went on air that I fully started to grasp what it means to have a network where you are the OW of the OWN.

"How absolutely extraordinary it is that I can sit in this place with my name on a network, coming from a little town in Mississippi...and growing up without a television."

Adam Levine poses nude for U.K. magazine

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has stripped off to pose naked for a top U.K. women's magazine in a bid to raise awareness about prostate and testicular cancer.

The toned and tattooed star bares all for Cosmopolitan U.K., posing with a pair of strategically placed female hands covering his genitals.

The singer says he stripped down to encourage men to check for signs and symptoms of cancer.

He says, "I spend most of my life naked. In fact, I often have to be told by the people around me that it's inappropriate to be as naked as I am. But I live in California, where it's always warm, so why not?"

Amy Adams plans perfect picnic wedding

Actress Amy Adams wants her wedding to be a laid back, barefoot affair - she is planning a bohemian ceremony with guests sitting on picnic rugs in a meadow.

The "Doubt" star became engaged to her boyfriend of 10 years, Darren Le Gallo, in 2008, but the pair put off planning their big day after the actress landed a number of high-profile movie roles and later became pregnant with daughter Aviana, who was born in May.

But Adams has finally started thinking about her wedding - and she's eyeing an idyllic summer theme.

She tells Britain's Marie Claire magazine, "For my wedding, I want everybody to be on picnic blankets and barefoot. I would love for blankets to be spread out on a big meadow and everybody sitting down.

"I think if you're going to invest time and money, you want it to be right. Plus, I know my future self will be really mad at me if I just elope and don't do something."
