Police say a 71-year-old woman was struck and killed by her daughter's car after it was hit by a passing vehicle in front of a senior living community in Buena Park.
Buena Park police Sgt. Bill Kohanek tells the Orange County Register that Boon Soon Yang was fatally injured Monday morning when a black Audi driven by Yang's daughter was trying to make a left turn into a driveway. The Audi was struck by a Honda Civic traveling westbound, causing the Audi to go up the curb and sidewalk, striking Yang.
