Kentucky man shoots a chupacabra, or does he?

A Kentucky man may hold the secret to one of life's greatest mysteries. But then he shot it.

Legend has it, the chupacabra, a small, freakish rodent-dog-thing roams free in the Americas, spending its days sucking the blood from goats and eluding the legitimate scientific community.

"It's kind of a mystery right now," says Mark Cothren, who shot the animal on his property in Lebanon Junction, Ky. "What's that? It's a chupacabra. That's what that thing is, cuz I pulled it up on the internet," added Cothren.

But sightings have been rare and biologists have been decidedly skeptical of the existence of this mythical beast.

Scientists...pshaw; this dude shot one, which is all the evidence I need - hang on a sec while I go update the Wikipedia page.

Case. Closed.
