Spears Says Sorry For Twitter Hacker

Britney Spears has apologized to her Twitter.com followers after her blog was taken over by devilish pranksters.

Spears' fans were shocked when a message posted on her webpage on Thursday appeared to declare her dedication to Satan worship.

The post read, "I give myself to Lucifer every day for it to arrive as quickly as possible. Glory to Satan! I hope that the new world order will arrive as soon as possible! - Britney."

Spears' representatives spotted her account had been hacked hours later and the message was soon removed.

And the singer is saying sorry for any offence caused by the bogus post.

A message on Spears' social networking site reads, "Britney's twitter account was just hacked. The situation has been resolved and we apologize for any offense the hacker's messages caused."

It was the second time this year the pop star became the victim of an online hoax - internet hackers also uploaded an obscene post on the page in January.

Spears targeted by hackers again

Britney Spears has fallen victim to Internet hackers for the second time this year -- her Twitter account has been targeted by devilish pranksters.

The singer's fans received a message from Spears' online account on Thursday, which swapped her usual light-hearted banter for talk of Satan worship.

The "Toxic" hit maker's Twitter.com homepage also turned an unusual shade of red as the pranksters wrote, "I give myself to Lucifer every day for it to arrive as quickly as possible. Glory to Satan! I hope that the new world order will arrive as soon as possible! - Britney."

Within hours, the post had been removed and Spears' photo on her page was replaced with a standard Twitter logo.

The star's account was previously hacked last January when naughty pranksters posted an obscene message on the page.

Spears Devastated By Walk-Out Reports

Britney Spears is "extremely upset" by false reports fans walked out of her concert in Australia on Friday.

Rumors surfaced that several members of the audience walked out of Burswood Dome in Perth during the first of Spears' 14 gigs Down Under, with some blasting the star for lip-synching, and branding her performance "boring".

But according to Paul Dainty, the organizer of Spears' Australian Circus tour, the reports are false and have left the Toxic hitmaker devastated.

He tells The Australian newspaper, "Britney is aware of all this and she's extremely upset by it. She's a human being. I'm embarrassed, with such a big international entourage here with Britney, to be part of the Australian media when I see that kind of totally inaccurate reporting."

Spears' manager Adam Leber has also come to her defense, taking to her official Twitter.com page to write, "It's unfortunate that one journalist in Perth didn't enjoy the show last night. Fortunately the other 18,272 fans in attendance did."

The furor came after Virginia Judge, the New South Wales Minister for Fair Trading, urged ticket agencies to warn fans about touring stars who don't sing live.

Taking aim at Spears in particular, Judge said, "Live means live. If you are spending up to $200, I think you deserve better than a film clip. The NSW Government would be happy to look at options, such as a disclaimer on a ticket which would warn consumers a performance is pre-recorded."

Dainty maintains it is common knowledge that Spears plays pre-recorded vocals during her shows, insisting she has never tried to hide the fact: "It's been all over the internet for nine months. This show is about an incredible spectacle, which it is."

Aussie Outrage Over Lip-Synching Spears

Britney Spears' lip-synced shows are causing controversy in Australia - one of the country's leading politicians is urging ticket agencies to warn fans when artists plan to mime.

Spears is currently performing Down Under as part of her "Circus" world tour, but critics have slammed the star for failing to sing live during the shows.

Now the New South Wales Minister for Fair Trading, Virginia Judge, has waded into the debate - insisting ticket agencies should publish a disclaimer to stop gig-goers feeling cheated when an artist fails to provide any live vocals.

Judge has branded Spears' shows a "Mickey Mouse performance," adding: "Let's be clear - live means live. If you are spending up to $200, I think you deserve better than a film clip. The NSW Government would be happy to look at options, such as a disclaimer on a ticket which would warn consumers a performance is pre-recorded."

Britney Spears' mom, Lynne, wants the singer to marry boyfriend Jason Trawick, because he is the "dream" husband.

The singer split from her agent in August, reportedly over concerns the relationship was getting too serious, but the pair has since rekindled their romance.

And the star's mother is hoping the romance lasts, because Trawick looks after Spears and has supported her through her troubles.

Lynne Spears says, "He's the kind of man you would dream of your daughter marrying. The kids love him, and he's stable. ... Everyone else abandoned her, but Jason refused to be completely cut out of Britney's life. He's very protective of her."

And she's not the only person close to the singer who thinks Trawick is a good influence, Spears' friends are pleased about the relationship as well.

A pal tells US Weekly, "She has been honest with Jason about what she's been through in a way that I don't think she's been with other people, and he always preferred to not sugarcoat the harsh reality of what happened to her. He tells her when she should take responsibility for her own actions."

Spears Reaches Settlement With Photographer

Britney Spears has reached a financial settlement with the photographer who was injured when the singer ran over his foot in 2007.

In legal documents, paparazzo Ricardo Mendoza claimed his foot has been damaged for life, and his injuries had cost him $195,000 in general damages.

He asked Spears to hand over more than $220,000 after accusing her of intentionally running him over.

Mendoza argued that Spears' minders "should have known... Britney was not in the mental, emotional and/or physical condition to operate the subject motor vehicle in a safe and reasonable manner."

The terms of the settlement have not been revealed.

Britney's agent romance back on?

Britney Spears has rekindled her love affair with agent Jason Trawick just weeks after they split, according to new reports.

The pair's brief romance came to an end in August, because Spears was concerned it was getting too serious.

A source told OKMagazine.com, "She told him she needed to get back on her own two feet before moving forward. Jason was disappointed, but he understood."

Two months on, the couple was spotted shopping together in California over the weekend and onlookers claim the star and Trawick were "flirty and cuddly."

And a source tells Star magazine the relationship is back on.

The insider reveals, "Britney missed Jason so much while they were apart. They barely spoke. Now he's planning to join her on her Australian tour next month.

A source tells Aussie newspaper the Herald Sun, "Britney's rule is clear - zero tolerance. No drink. No drugs. If you do not comply, you do not tour with Britney."

Spears Wraps U.S. Tour With Lap Dance

Britney Spears concluded the North American leg of her Circus tour with two raunchy shows in Las Vegas - where she performed a lap dance for singer Lance Bass.

The pop star wrapped up her seven-month tour in Sin City on Sunday and gave fans a thrill by inviting the 'N Sync star - her friend and former tour-mate - to join her onstage at the Mandalay Bay venue.

Spears proceeded to serenade him while writhing seductively to her track Breathe On Me, while Bass could be seen singing along.

Barry Manilow was also in the audience, while former Spice Girl Melanie Brown and teen sensation Miley Cyrus were in town to catch Spears' concert on Saturday.

And Spears was clearly delighted with the star-studded turnout - she later contacted Cyrus on Twitter.com to tell her: "Thanks for coming to my show last night! Hope you had fun! - Britney."

Excited Cyrus responded, "You are very welcome. I love you so much!"

The Toxic hit-maker will relax throughout the month of October before flying to Australia to play a string of dates Down Under in November.
