Kardashians end credit card deal; Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson named most stylish couple; Angelina Jolie: 'No more kids - for now'

Kardashians end credit card deal

Kim Kardashian and her sisters have distanced themselves from a controversial credit card scheme aimed at kids following outrage over extra costs.

Kim, along with her siblings Khloe and Kourtney, lent their name to the Kardashian Prepaid MasterCard, which lets parents give their children a small amount of credit so they can keep track of their finances.

The scheme costs every user $7.95 a month to run and also includes a $1 fee to add money to the card as well as $2 per transaction to pay the bill automatically.

The attorney general of Connecticut launched a scathing attack on the siblings earlier this month for promoting the card, accusing the stars of peddling a "dangerous financial fantasy."

Lawyers for the stars' corporation, Dash Dolls, LLC, have now issued a "notice of termination" to the companies behind the card and ended the endorsement deal, according to GossipCop.com.

The legal letter, sent on Monday afternoon, states the Kardashians "have worked extremely long and hard to create a positive public persona", and are recognized as "honest, ethical, and fun-loving individuals who are kind and caring to others."

According to the document, they've decided to terminate "the agreement in its entirety, effective immediately" because the card "might violate" certain laws.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson named most stylish couple

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have been named the Most Stylish Celebrity Couple by fashion magazine InStyle.

The actors, who play onscreen lovers in the "Twilight" franchise and are rumored to be dating in real life, topped the poll with the publication's editors praising Pattinson's "public-school boy style" and Stewart's "laid-back American approach to fashion."

The pair was placed ahead of fashionable "Sex And The City" star Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick in second, while Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis came in third.

Other couples to make the top 10 include Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, and Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.

Famous Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie barely scraped into the top 25, landing at number 23.

Angelina Jolie: 'No more kids - for now'

Angelina Jolie has ruled out expanding her family with partner Brad Pitt, insisting their six youngsters need more attention before they welcome another brother or sister.

The "Tomb Raider" star shares three adopted and three biological children with Pitt and admits she's too busy to think about adding another into the brood.

When asked about plans for more kids, she tells Britain's OK! magazine, "No, I think it's very important to give our children the individual attention they need now before expanding our family.

"You try to feel them, because at different times, different children need you - you must find the time to listen to them. Brad and I are also really lucky because between the two of us, we can spread the attention around."

'Inferno' director relieved to be moving on without Lindsay Lohan

The director of the upcoming Linda Lovelace biopic feels relieved after axing troubled actress Lindsay Lohan from the project - because the production can now move forward without "any distractions."

Moviemaker Matthew Wilder cast the "Mean Girls" star to play the porn legend in "Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story," and stood by the actress as she was jailed for breaching her probation earlier this year.

However, the movie stalled once again in November when Lohan was ordered to return to rehab until early 2011, and Wilder was forced to drop her from the project because of complications with insurance.

And Wilder admits he's glad he no longer has to deal with the scandal surrounding the star.

He says, "I feel like 16 tons of weight are off my mind not having to deal with the Lindsay Lohan situation.

"We have not heard anything from Lindsay and her camp recently but we wish her and them well. I still think she has great talent and if she respects those gifts then she will go on to show people what she is capable of doing.

"We're scheduled to start filming in February now and are really looking forward to moving forward without any distractions."

"Watchmen" star Malin Akerman has been hired as Lohan's replacement.

Cancer brought Michael Douglas closer to dad Kirk

Michael Douglas has found a blessing during his difficult cancer battle - his diagnosis brought him closer to his actor dad Kirk.

The "Wall Street" star, who underwent treatment for throat cancer last month, admits his 93-year-old dad has supported him ever since doctors told him he had the disease.

Douglas tells the Associated Press, "He really made an effort. He was back here almost 10 days. He came over every day. He was great."

The actor also admits he has come to understand why his father was often absent when he was growing up, adding: "In those key years, when Kirk was doing five movies a year, if we saw him it was only out of his guilt... Kirk was all-consumed, was overworked. Probably like myself at a certain time in my life."

Mark Ruffalo not on terror advisory list

U.S. officials have denied reports Mark Ruffalo has been placed on a terror advisory list after organizing screenings for a new documentary about natural gas drilling.

The "Zodiac" actor arranged showings for "GasLand" earlier this year and voiced his concerns about what the practice is doing to the nation's water supplies.

He claimed his efforts to raise awareness and demand a stop to natural gas drilling attracted the attention of officials from Pennsylvania's Office of Homeland Security, who reportedly added him to a terror alert watchlist.

But a spokesperson for the security agency has brushed off Ruffalo's revelations, telling EW.com the actor's name is not included on any terror list.

Winona Ryder apologized to Natalie Portman for 'horrible' 'Black Swan' scenes

Winona Ryder presented Natalie Portman with a small gift after they finished filming "Black Swan" to apologize for the "horrible" lines she had to deliver as her on-screen rival.

Ryder plays a prima ballerina who is replaced by Portman's younger dancer character in a production of "Swan Lake" in the dark drama - and insists she felt guilty for making so many cruel jibes.

She tells Britain's Total Film magazine, "I wrote (to) Natalie and I got her something when I had finished filming, saying, 'I'm so sorry I had to say all those horrible things.'"

But Ryder admits the movie's script resonated with her - since she is now no longer part of Hollywood's crop of young stars.

She adds, "Doing the character was really cool in a way because I'm a bit older and the whole idea (is) there's these young new actresses coming up. I'm sort of 'old school'! I like the idea of being replaced and being older, especially now I've just turned 39.

"When I started acting, I wanted to be like ('Rosemary's Baby' star) Ruth Gordon, because I was always the kid and always wanted to be older. So it's interesting for me to be older than people now."

David Cassidy blames arrest on 'wandering eye'

Former teen idol David Cassidy blamed his failed sobriety test on a "wandering eye" he's suffered with since he was a child, according to a newly emerged video shot on the night of his arrest on suspicion of drink driving.

"The Partridge Family" star was driving along Florida's famous Turnpike freeway earlier this month when cops in Fort Pierce spotted his Mercedes weaving on and off the road and pulled over the vehicle.

The 60-year-old actor/singer failed two roadside sobriety tests. Police officers allegedly found a half-empty bottle of bourbon in the car but a representative for the star denied he was drunk behind the wheel.

According to the police report, Cassidy was "swaying while standing" during the tests - but a new video, obtained by TMZ.com, shows the star telling cops before the check that he suffers from a special eye condition.

A police officer is heard asking Cassidy if he has any problems with his eyes, to which the star responds: "I do... I had a wandering eye as a child... my right eye still wanders when I get tired."

Cassidy was subsequently arrested and taken to a nearby jail, where he was booked for driving under the influence (DUI). He was released in the early hours of November 4 on a $350 bond and is due back in court in January.

George Clooney baffled by under-30s surgery trend

George Clooney can't understand why anyone under the age of 30 would sign up for cosmetic surgery, insisting they must be extremely "unhappy" to want to change their looks at such a young age.

The "Ocean's Eleven" star, 49, went under the knife several years ago to remove excess skin around his eyes and he owned up to the procedure in a 2007 interview on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," admitting, "It's important to look awake."

But Clooney is convinced people in their twenties shouldn't be using surgery to boost their self-esteem.

He tells Britain's Hello magazine, "It's fine for other people and if people want to do something that makes them feel better, good luck to them.

"The times I worry are when I see some of the younger people out there messing with their faces because I think that's a mistake. I worry about people who are so unhappy with the way they look that they start trying to look younger at 25."

Keith Urban feared Nicole Kidman would leave him

Keith Urban has opened up about the moment his marriage to Nicole Kidman almost collapsed - insisting he would have understood if the actress had walked out on him when he was admitted to rehab.

The country superstar has long battled alcohol and drug addiction and he reached a breaking point four months after his marriage to the "Moulin Rouge!" star in 2006.

Kidman helped stage an intervention and Urban checked into the Betty Ford Center in a bid to kick his bad habits for good.

During an appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on Monday, Urban revealed he thought his addictions would "tear" the couple apart and "destroy" their marriage.

And the singer insists he would have understood if Kidman had left him, telling the TV host, "Well that's the point right there where she should have just walked. Not should have, that's not the right word, but I (would have understood if she had). Of course... I'm just glad she didn't."

He also praised Kidman for the way she handled the situation, adding, "It was really a profound moment in so many ways. The way in which Nic handled that moment was just perfect... Everything was just designed, I believe, for that moment to fuse us together."

Kidman was also interviewed on the show and told Winfrey the tough times made their relationship stronger: "I think marriage is about, every day, trying to make it better and working through things and when things are tough, saying, 'I'm going to come to you and talk.' We're just very tight, and we stay really tight."

The actress was also reduced to tears during the chat when Winfrey read out Urban's dedication to her in the sleeve notes of his new album, Get Closer.

When the host read the line, "No one has ever, or will ever, love you as much I do", the actress began to cry and said, "Stop. Ok. It gets me."

Sonny Bono kept divorced Cher laughing

Cher struggled to stay mad at her ex-husband Sonny Bono for long even after their divorce - he planted a sloppy smooch on her lips moments after a judge made their split official.

The pair wed in 1964 and went on to become variety TV superstars, performing sketches on their hit show "The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour."

They had one child together, daughter Chastity, but the union broke down due to Bono's dominance over Cher's life and career.

Cher admits she was constantly won over by his humor and couldn't help but laugh when their divorce was finalized in July 1975 - because Bono still insisted on one last kiss.

She tells Britain's You magazine, "It was hero worship for me, and for most of our married life we were perfect together, and then it got not so perfect. It was like, 'I gotta go, I'm not comfortable.' It was still fun to work with him, though. He always made me laugh.

"The day we got our divorce, we were coming out of the courthouse and he bent me over backwards and stuck his tongue in my mouth and I just started laughing hysterically. It was impossible to stay angry at him."

Kid Rock attacks ticket scalpers

Kid Rock has launched a bitter attack against ticket scalpers trying to profit from his upcoming 40th birthday party show in his native Detroit, Michigan after the concert sold out within 19 minutes of going on sale.

The "All Summer Long" hitmaker announced plans to celebrate the milestone age with fans at a special January 15 gig at Ford Field, which is to be renamed 40 Field for the night.

The show, which takes place two days before his actual birthday, will kick off his 2011 Born Free Tour, but it's already gotten off to a bad start - more than 45,000 tickets were snapped up last week and Rock has since learned a heap of stubs are being traded online at hugely inflated prices.

The discovery has left Rock fuming because he works hard to try and keep ticket prices as low as possible so fans of all backgrounds have the opportunity to see him perform live.

But he has no idea how to combat the increasing popularity of secondary ticket brokers and the controversial practice has infuriated him.

Taking to his website, an angry Rock writes, "IF I COULD CONFRONT EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM (ticket scalpers) FACE TO FACE I WOULD AND IT WOULD NOT WORK OUT TOO WELL FOR THEM I GUARANTEE ALL OF YOU.

"I hate them, I feel like someone is beating up a close friend or family member while I'm chained to a chair."

French actor Gerard Depardieu is sporting a slimmer figure after dropping 44 pounds on a 10-day water fast.

The 62-year-old star reportedly tipped the scales at 330 pounds before he went on the crash diet, eating nothing for a full 10 days.

And he's vowed to change his bad eating habits for good after seeing the drastic improvements.

He tells the Associated Foreign Press, "I didn't eat anything for 10 days. I just drank water and I lost 20 kilos.

"One should not treat one's body like a dustbin."
