Travel video: Ignoring Mexico mania in La Paz

Spent a week in Mexico and not once did I fear for my life. No drug gangs, no shootouts with federales, not even a decent case of Montezuma's revenge (even after plenty of street food).

Could it be that that Mexico is, well, a big country and that, just possibly, there are plenty of places that are safe? Could it be that people who deep down are looking for any excuse NOT to travel are just buying into the fear-mongering of certain cable "news" channels?

Answers: Yup.
