Don't trust anybody, especially on Craigslist

Here is why it's important to not trust anybody on the internet (except for me, because I'll never lie to you).

Yesterday, the Pleasant Hill Police Department received a phone call from a person wanting to make a report.

The man said he had purchased a vehicle off Craigslist for $5,000 and sent the money to the seller on December 15th. The vehicle was supposed to be delivered on Christmas, but Christmas came and went, and the man still doesn't have the vehicle he purchased, according to the Pleasant Hill Police.

The listing has been removed from Craigslist, and the man is unable to get a hold of the person who "sold" the vehicle.

Obviously the buyer made a big mistake, but let's not blame him, because the real criminal here is the person going around taking advantage of people and stealing their money without delivering the goods!

Sad story, that's a lot of money. Just be careful who you do business with on the internet, because these days, it seems like you can't trust anybody.
