Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens sparked speculation they have rekindled their romance after the pair was reportedly spotted kissing on a night out.

Last month, reports suggested the actress had parted ways from her "High School Musical" co-star after the relationship "ran its course."

But the pair was said to be "all over each other" as they partied with pals, including Brittany Snow, at Los Angeles' Eden nightclub on Friday night, prompting gossip they have reconciled.

An onlooker tells E! Online, "They were inseparable throughout the night, seen dancing, drinking Belvedere (vodka) and canoodling. (Vanessa) only broke from Efron's side to dance with Brittany on the couches at their table.

"They were directly next to our table and were all over each other, dirty dancing and making out."

Report: Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens split

One of Hollywood's hottest young couples, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, have ended their three-year relationship, according to reports.

The actors met in 2005 when they were both cast in Disney's "High School Musical" franchise and they went public with their romance in 2007.

But, according to Eonline.com, Efron, 23, and Hudgens have called it quits.

A source tells the website's Marc Malkin, "It's nothing dramatic. There's no third party involved.

"They were together for so long. It just ran its course."

The timing of the split news couldn't be worse for Hudgens - the actress turns 22 on Tuesday.

Earlier this year, Hudgens opened up about her relationship with Efron, gushing to Glamour magazine, "Right off the bat, we had a connection. I think everybody could see it. When we had our audition, they paired us together. And he was adorable.

"I think that we inspire each other. (I love) having someone to grow with."

Meanwhile, in the September issue of Details magazine, Efron admitted he was contemplating life as a single guy.

He said, "Everyone tells me (to play the field). I think a lot of guys would enjoy that. But I'm not really like that."

Zac Efron asked Vanessa Hudgens' permission for strip club outing

Zac Efron endured an "awkward" telephone call with his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens this weekend - when the actor asked her permission to go to a strip club.

The clean-cut Disney star hit headlines this week when it was revealed he spent Sunday night surrounded by semi-naked women at a strip club in New York City.

Efron admits he was nervous about calling his longtime partner and "High School Musical" co-star Hudgens to tell her about his planned outing, and he was relieved when the actress gave him permission to go.

He tells talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, "The hardest thing was calling your girlfriend before. That's the awkward part. How do you even start that conversation without feeling like a total a**hole? (But) she was fine with it."

And Efron reveals the Manhattan club didn't quite live up to his expectations. He adds, "I had this image of what it would be like... I've heard a lot about these places, mostly from rap music. They're supposed to be pretty reputable, right? I envisioned myself on a nice couch, stunna (sic) shades, like T-Pain and Usher, you know, making it rain money. And it just wasn't like that that."

Vanessa Hudgens still 'hurting' from nude photo scandals

Actress Vanessa Hudgens is still reeling from a series of nude photo leaks that exposed her bare flesh to the world in 2007 and 2009.

The 21-year-old "High School Musical" star's good girl image was tarnished by the saucy snaps, which she allegedly took as a naughty treat for boyfriend and co-star Zac Efron.

In 2007, pictures taken of Hudgens posing provocatively both nude and in lingerie appeared online, forcing the Disney star to issue a public apology, and she hit headlines again last year when she found herself at the center of another naked photo scandal, when new snaps circulated online.

And Hudgens is still coping with the thought of intimate photos surfacing for the world to see.

She tells Glamour, "I think it has made me stronger. But it still hurts. It sucks because (the photos were) supposed to be private."

Vanessa Hudgens not house-hunting with Zac Efron

Actress Vanessa Hudgens has dismissed rumors she is house-hunting with longtime boyfriend Zac Efron, insisting the couple isn't ready to settle down just yet.

The "High School Musical" stars have been an item for five years, and have separate homes in Los Angeles.

But Hudgens isn't ready to take her relationship to the next level, and is adamant the pair is not planning to merge homes.

She tells Glamour magazine, "Nuh-uh. No... Maybe house-hunting on our own. Which, I'm not. And he's not at the moment. So no. No. I just bought my house two years ago, and I adore it."

Vanessa Hudgens' home not haunted

Vanessa Hudgens' representative has laughed off reports the actress abandoned her California home because it's haunted, insisting the "High School Musical" star left the property so it could be renovated.

The 21 year old was said to have been spooked in her Studio City mansion and decided to move back in with her parents because she was "too scared to live there alone."

But Hudgens' rep has dismissed the OK! magazine claims, telling GossipCop.com the report is "absolutely false" and the actress has vacated the property because she is "having work done on the house."

Vanessa Hudgens named Star Of Tomorrow

Actress Vanessa Hudgens will be honored with the ShoWest Female Star of Tomorrow award at the annual cinema owners convention in Las Vegas in March.

The 21-year-old has landed the coveted accolade after impressing movie bosses with her turn in the "High School Musical" franchise, and her more recent roles, including the upcoming film "Beastly."

Her co-star in the fantasy movie, Alex Pettyfer, has been named the Male Star of Tomorrow, with ShoWest managing director Robert Sunshine branding the pair "outstanding young talents."

Katherine Heigl will receive the Female Star of the Year award at the annual ceremony.

Hudgens and Pettyfer follow a long line of impressive Star of Tomorrow recipients, including Chris Pine, Shia LaBeouf, Hayden Christensen, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp.

Vanessa Hudgens sues over nude snaps

"High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens is suing the owners of a Web site over the publication of photos which appear to show the actress naked.

The 21-year-old was embroiled in scandal earlier this year when saucy snaps, which appeared to show her undressed, surfaced online.

Hudgens' lawyers battled to have the photos removed from the Web and now she's taking legal action against one particular Web site which allegedly refused to take the pictures down.

She has filed suit against bosses at Moejackson.com, alleging a series of "self portrait photographs" taken in a private home with a cell phone were published on the site and remained on view even after her lawyers claimed copyright violation and ordered the pictures to be removed, according to TMZ.com.

The papers state, "The photos were obtained by unknown methods and posted on the Internet by an unknown person without Hudgens' knowledge or consent."

The celebrity Web site is reporting that Hudgens' team has registered the nude photos with the U.S. Copyright Office.

She is seeking damages and an injunction to order the site to remove the pictures.

It's the second time Hudgens has been at the center of a nude-snaps scandal. She was previously left red-faced in 2007 when pictures taken of her posing provocatively both nude and in lingerie appeared online, forcing the Disney star to issue a public apology.

Efron And Hudgens' Engagement Reports 'Not True'

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens won't be walking down the aisle just yet -- both stars have denied reports they're soon to be wed.

The "High School Musical" co-stars, who have dated since 2005, have long been subjected to speculation about their love life, with Efron denying in February that he'd proposed to Hudgens during a promotional trip in Japan.

Now the pair has been forced to speak out again after they were subjected to another round of rum ours about an engagement this weekend, after a British tabloid reported that Hudgens had hinted about a possible wedding date.

Representatives for both Efron and Hudgens maintain that while the couple is still together, reports of an imminent marriage ceremony are "not true."

Hudgens hints the scandals won't damage her longterm career plans because she's ready to move on from being a child star.

The 20-year-old tells Star magazine, "The fact that kids look up to me is extremely flattering. But at the end of the day, I want to do R-rated films that are a little edgier."
