IN TONIGHT'S SKY - Dec 7 | |||||||||||||||
Can you see the razor-thin crescent Moon low in the southwest after sunset? It should just be visible, very low above the horizon, an hour after sunset. In contrast, the planet Jupiter is conspicuous and easy to see high in the south.
Venus rises at 3:45 a.m. Mars sets at 5:45 p.m.
Jupiter sets at 12:38 a.m. Saturn rises at 2:14 a.m.
