Jodie Sweetin facing lawsuit from ex-husband

Jodie Sweetin's ex-husband is taking legal action against the actress over her portrayal of him in her recent autobiography.

The former child star released her tell-all book, "UnSweetined," earlier this month, lifting the lid on her battle with drugs and alcohol and her marriage to Cody Herpin, who she divorced earlier this year.

But Herpin is not happy about the way he has been depicted in the book, and has filed suit against his ex-wife for allegedly portraying him in a "false light."

In the suit, filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court, Herpin claims his former partner has depicted him as "lazy, unwilling to provide and support his family, uncaring, vindictive, unsupportive and disinterested" in Sweetin's pregnancy when she was expecting their daughter, Zoie.

Herpin is also suing the book's publisher Simon & Schuster, according to TMZ.com.

Former child star Jodie Sweetin is celebrating the birth of her second child, a baby girl she has named Beatrix.

The 28-year-old former "Full House" star welcomed her new daughter into the world on Tuesday. The baby weighed 7 pounds and 4 ounces.

It's her first child with boyfriend Morty Coyle and a little sister for her 2-year-old daughter Zoie, whose dad is Sweetin's ex-husband, Cody Herpin.

Speaking after the birth, Coyle said, "Jodie was amazing and is doing great. We are now the proud, excited parents of Miss Beatrix Carlin Sweetin Coyle."

Jodie Sweetin not married for third time, says rep

A representative for former child star Jodie Sweetin has dismissed reports the actress has married for a third time.

According to online speculation on Tuesday, the "Full House" star had walked down the aisle with DJ Morty Coyle after just three months of dating.

But a spokesperson for the 28 year old -- who has battled drinking and drugs problems -- insists the rumors are false.

The rep tells UsMagazine.com, "The reports are not true. She is not married again."

Sweetin married police officer Shaun Holguin in 2002, and divorced four years later. She went on to wed Cody Herpin in 2007, but the marriage ended a year later.

Sweetin Blames Property Lawsuit On Husband

Actress Jodie Sweetin has blamed her estranged husband for landing her in court over unpaid property fees, accusing Cody Herpin of failing to pay the bills on their California home.

The former "Full House" actress is facing a lawsuit from her Home Owner's Association over claims she owes over $1,185 in dues, late charges and fees relating to her Corona, Calif., house.

Attorneys working for the Sycamore Hills Community Association filed the suit against Sweetin in small claims court last month.

But Sweetin has hit back at the suit, insisting she moved out of the residence last year following her split from Herpin.

She claims to have been living with her mother, leaving her former partner to look after the house they used to share.

A representative for Sweetin tells Radar Online, "Jodie moved out of this house six months ago and has been living with her mother ever since. He was supposed to pay all the bills on the house, and he was supposed to get a job, but it looks like he isn't doing either of these things. He hasn't worked at all since he latched onto Jodie. He's like a guy who got married and never worked and now wants money and custody."

The former couple, who legally separated in November, are currently fighting for custody of their 12-month old daughter, Zoie.

The lawsuit will go to trial on July 14.
