Blood flies in new Mortal Kombat screenshots

Here's a bunch of new Mortal Kombat screenshots to go with that trailer released yesterday.

They show iconic faces such as Johnny Cage, Raiden, Mileena and Reptile kicking the snot out of each other in a coliseum environment.

Series creator Ed Boon is promising big things from the Spring 2011-bound MK game. "Now, we're coming back with a vengeance," he told IGN. "As aggressively as possible in all those categories that I talked about. To me personally, I'm confident that the people who play are going to walk away totally psyched to buy this game."
