Fireese was a signing baby and is now a signing toddler. Fireese has learned how to sign the alphabet. Some letters are a little tricky but she is good for an almost 2 and a half year old girl.

    Have you considered selling your idea to schools? As a student at a University majoring in special education, I could see this being extremely helpful for my future students. I and other special education teachers, as I'm sure regular education as well, would love to use something like this is my/our classroom. You do a great job! And your little girl is too cute!

    @Candaceshae thanks for your comment. I actually lecture to teacher eduction programs on using sign language to promote literacy in our schools. I'm hoping to come out with some curriculum they could also use soon. Thanks for the motivation!

    This is GrEAT! I LOVE HOW she gets excited when she spells the word..makes me excited too.. very cute.. Good job with her. And all this was from teaching her how to sign first?

    @haynsoljahchic Yes! She learned the ASL alphabet first and then was able to transfer her understanding from that to written letters.

    Hi. I'm from Hong Kong. English is not our first language but I'm teaching my daughters phonics. They are almost three years old. They have learned all the letter sounds but I have no idea how to teach them to build words and to figure out how to pronounce the words until we saw your video. It's truly inspirational. My daughters will say, yeah, let's play with the letters, just like the girl! I would really like to thank you and hope you will post more videos. We can really learn from you.

    @jackiechanwhoopa actually she knew the names of the letters at 17 months. Watch some of our older videos and you will see that she learned the names of the letters first and then we moved on to the sounds
