E3 2010: Square Enix reveals Mindjack

Square Enix has unveiled an all-new action online shooter titled Mindjack, which is being developed by acclaimed Japanese developer feelplus.

Set in 2031 Mindjack sees players assume the role of a Mind Hacker, getting into the minds of enemies to control them and turn the tide of battle.

But whilst you're busy hacking, everyone else will be out to hack you. Players can slowly alter their gaming universe or have it altered by other online players.

Last week Square Enix announced what it believed was an "unrivalled" E3 line-up. This wasn't on the bill though.

Mindjack will be available in October for the PlayStation 3 and 360.

The going into other peoples bodies really reminds me of the matrix where Smith can appear from anywhere, Anyone else see what im getting at, yeah Square are trying to destroy Neo!

Looks like it could be interesting. Hacking into whoever you want has a lot of potential.
