The latest episode of GameTrailer's Bonus Round featured analyst Michael Pachter mentioning, and seemingly confirming, the coming of the much rumoured Twisted Metal 3.
Discussing the run of high-quality games coming to PS3 Pachter drops the vehicular battle game into his list, sparking rampant speculation that he accidentally outed the sequel, despite series creator David Jaffe saying recently that his upcoming project is NOT Twisted Metal 3.
Forced once again to calm speculation, Jaffe hit Twitter: "Amused & surprised people not seeing Pachter's comment as the joke it was. Hell I don't care. Come E3 I'll be sitting rite here at my mac."
Jaffe's startup, Eat Sleep Play, is creating a new title on PS3 which has been long rumoured to be an updated version of his classic combat racing title.
so,is this Jaffe guy a tosser then?...sure sounds like it
Well... he's a millionaire and develops computer games for a living... I'm sure he'll not be too bothered by your opinion of him.
i am not saying that to make an impression or anything, its just this comment

when its obvious people want a new TM game(i have never played one so i can't speak for that side of it all),and he saying that he doesn't care..sorry but that sounds like a tosser to me...he could at least put people down gentler than that...surely it was these types of people who put him where he is now?
He means he doesn't care if people take Pachters comment as a joke or not. He's not going to E3 and they'll all find out soon enough it's a joke. Not that he doesn't care fans want another Twisted Metal. If you read his blog you'll see that's one thing he does take seriously.
