Nintendo's just announced that Pokémon Black & White will be released in Europe and North America in Spring 2011.
As part of the release announcement Nintendo also revealed that new Legendary Pokémon Reshiram (Pokémon Black Version) and Zekrom (Pokémon White Version) will be featured on the covers of the games worldwide. Exciting.
"It's rare to find a franchise with such worldwide appeal and dedicated fans as Pokémon." said Laurent Fischer, Managing Director Marketing and PR, Nintendo of Europe.
"We're excited to inform our fans that this eagerly anticipated adventure, featuring an all-new generation of Pokémon, will be available in Europe in spring 2011."
OMG WTF are those things I don't even... Seriously these legendary Pokémon are just getting beyond a joke now, no offence to those who do like them I just don't like the way the series is going now. I lost motivation with Diamond and haven't got very far at all then I got HG and don't have the motivation to even get to the first gym since so many new features aswell as a ridiculously high count of Pokémon continuously put me off. The appearance of these legendaries have put me off this game even further. Pokémon doesn't need more creatures in my book, they're just making the initial 'Gotta catch 'em all' line more impossible with every game.
I hate these new legendaries; I positively hate them. I mean, I thought Dialga, Palkia, Giratina and Cresselia sucked, but these simply take the biscuit!
As mogel94 has said: they look like they've failed their Digimon audition.

And as for the Mascots, they actually aren't important really, they're pretty much useless everywhere but the E4 (who can be swept by the starter) and friend matches, being banned from the interesting bits makes them nothing more than 2 trophys for the pokedex to me.
I'm more interested in what they stand for anyway, will they counter Arceus by being the Omega of Pokemon? Will the control Light and Darkness? Will they go back to gen 2 styled legendarys and be nothing more than the stuff of legends? Who knows.
The black one would look better without the wings. Too many legendaries have wings these days.
I don't mind them, I personally think they look okay. Generation 3 really ruined the traditional appearance of Pokemon in general, 4 improved it a little, but the starters this gen are promising, so I have faith that the new ones will be alright.
Just hope they don't go overboard with Legendary Pokemon, 4th gen over saturated them significantly.
They are making these legendaries just too mighty now, where ever next? Arceus like controlled everything... Mew and that just went about their buisness and it was like awesome if you saw them. Now these dudes stick there oar in everywhere. As a matter of fact, they are not even that hard to catch...
I'll just import my Soulsilver team which consists of half of my Platinum team and sweep the E4 in seconds. Unless the new Mon impress me enough to actually use them.

wait, if the 3DS is definantly coming out before march 2011 and is rumoured to be coming out in october this year, then are these pokemon exclusively DS games. It would be stupid if they were. To release games only on an outdated console????? Or maybe it makes sense because the 3DS will have backward compatibilty. maybe these will be part of the 3DS launch games?????? WHO KNOWS???????????
