ICO and Shadow of the Colossus look like they could be coming to PS3 in a reworked Team ICO HD bundle in Q1 next year.
That's according to a report from TheSixthAxis, which confirmed that the pack was coming to PlayStation but that it wouldn't arrive until early next year.
A bit of a wait, then, but Sony does seem to be all about releasing collections of much loved games recently.
It was only last month that we announced the UK release of the God of War Collection. Good times indeed.
The coming of the Team ICO Collection was first hinted at by VG247 earlier today.

I think the graphics would need a complete overhaul to be honest, a higher a resolution is likely to look bad. They are beautiful looking games but part of that is artistic beauty and not technical.
I hope they do this. Having not had a ps2, and my ps3 not having BC, I never got to play these. Colossus looks fantastic can't wait
Same for me as well. Along Gow 1/2, these were the 2 games I really wanted to play back then. I'm cautiosly optimistic this rumour proves true.
Same here, i did manage the GOW games with my original BC PS3 but i tried to play Colossus on it and it was just one of those games that wouldn't work right. A HD remix ala GOW style would be great.

They improved some of the textures for GOW1+2, so it isn't beyond the realms of possibility.
I hope this rumour is true because I'd love to play both of those games again.
Freakin awesome! It keeps getting better and better. Loved GoW collection as i never played them on the PS2. It was a great run-up to GoW3. I'll do the same with this collection and Last Guardian. Its not a series like GoW, but it will still be loads of fun. IF its true that is...

Upscaling and AA would fix most of the graphical ugliness. The levels, effects and character models all look pretty solid, even now in SD.

I loved shadow of the colossus, on PS2, I think they could HD it easy as it was overtly fuzzy so can be done, as for ICO, I was planning to get round to playing this on PS2, I have both special editions, so now will wait for this to come on PS3 and keep the PS2 iterations anyway...I did trhe same with GoW 1&2, didnt keep the PS2 iterations but played them again on PS3 as the collection.....this is good news...Shadow of the Colossus in HD YES!! Day 1!

Really? It makes me think that the last guardian is pretty much done so they can now do the rework as their studio is pretty small and can't do multiple projects. You never know though...

I've been thinking along the lines that it might slip to next year as well. We'll find out for certain in a couple of weeks either way.
YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ICO is one of my favorite games of all time. I wonder if they'll create some trophies for these games as it would be more than welcome. I really hope this is true.
