Bungie has once again built up Halo: Reach to galactic proportions, saying that they are aiming to make it the definitive Halo experience and that they are expecting a huge marketing push from Microsoft for the last chapter of the acclaimed series.
Talking to the Seattle Times, community director Brian Jarrard said, "We're very optimistic. We have a lot riding on this game and we have high expectations for it."
"We certainly feel Reach will be the best Halo game that Bungie's ever made, and I think Microsoft's going to bet really big behind it," he added.
"This is what Microsoft does really well - big, huge entertainment launches. You're going to see that happen again for Reach."
It seems as though Bungie believes if they keep on telling us this that we might actually believe it..... but really it looks alot more of the same thing.

That was the fundament of Goebbels propaganda - lie repeated 500 times becomes truth.

My birthday is coming up next month.. and my wish is Bungie would STFU bout Halo: been there, done that... The halo games have been diminishing in quality since Halo : CE.. IMO one of the best first person shooters ever.. and its very clear that Bungie has been desperately trying to get back to that formula that made the 1st halo so damn good.. they came close with halo 3 and lost me when they made the assault rifle sound like a Mattel toy.. look away from its flaws and halo 2 and 3 are great games and at more times than less they do justify the sort of hype that is around them.. UNTIL halo odst came out . That game is the single most overrated overhyped piece of dogshyte i have ever thrown away a full price on.. that game has left such a bad taste in my mouth that its too gotdamn early for another halo.. odst is proof enough that the majority of the halo community are a bunch of tards.. if bungie take a crap , they can blindly expect the halo community boys to call it a masterpiece. ive even come across ppl saying halo odst is one of the best lookin games on the 360. ROFL.. subjects to the hype.. I just HAD to rant .. after seeing the plethora of articles on this site and others i cant take it anymore.. and i fear this is just the beginning to nightmare of Reach Underwear ads.. Reach on double decker buses.. Reach on every site.. A lot of talk from bungie bout a game thats far from release.. and WE WILL BE THE JUDGE OF WHETHER ITS THE BEST HALO GAME OR NOT.. and from ive seen of reach i doubt it will deliver.. its missing the 3 most important things that made the original that great.. A. HALO B. Master Chief C. Cortana.. and btw i think the assault rifle still sounds like a plastic toy from the vids ive seen.
Bungie make Halo. Bungie believe what they are working on at the moment is the definitive Halo. To be honest, they should know, having worked on the franchise for almost 10 YEARS. I think they are fairly qualified to suggest this.
Each Halo game has been critical and commercially acclaimed. Admittedly ODST was slightly below par, but it was originally meant to be an add on that grew bigger than intended. From any other dev it would have been excellent, and they only had a short development cycle on it.
You are entitled to your opinion bro, but to be honest I am sick of ranting, negative posts about upcoming games. A lot of people are looking forward to this, me included, and to be fair, I'm not interested in why you aren't. Why bother posting? Just post somewhere else, about a game you are looking forward to, and let us Halo fans post about we are anticipating.
Oh and by the way, you paid full price for ODST? Fail. I guess I would be kind of annoyed too, but that's not Bungie's fault you didn't shop around buddy.
