Nintendo has revealed a selection of the tracks that you'll be able to play in Jam With The Band, including classic Mario and Zelda theme tunes

Jam With The Band is the European version of Daigasso! Band Bros DX which was released for DS in Japan in 2008.

While the Japanese original featured Japanese pop, anime and traditional music, the tracklist for Jam With The Band is made up of pop tunes and classic Nintendo themes. There are 50 songs available to play along with on the carttridge plus 50 more available via Wi-Fi Connection. Here is a list of the confirmed tracks so far.

As well as using the stylus to play along with the songs, you can also program your own tracks in the game's song editor using up to eight different parts on each track from a collection of more than 50 instruments. Or you can create some simple melodies by humming into the Nintendo DS in-built microphone.

You'll be able to upload your own versions of tracks which can be downloaded by other users from a dedicated website.

You can also connect your DS to your Wii console and send the sounds from your Nintendo DS to the speakers of your TV sound system.

Jam With The Band will be released for DS on 21 May.
