This fresh batch of Conduit 2 screenshots show off some of the new locations you'll be able to visit in High Voltage's Wii sequel.
The first game wasset in Washington DC but the sequel takes Agent Ford out of the capital city and these new screenshots show him fighting enemies in Siberia and on an oil rig.
As ONM reveals in its preview of Conduit 2, there are also levels set in Mayan ruins and an underwater alien stronghold.
Does this make for a better game though? "The jury is still out," says ONM, who describe a robot dog enemy they've seen as "absurd."
You can see this robot dog enemy in the new issue of ONM which is on sale now. Buy it here.
Those screenshots are rubbish!!! Glad I sold my Wii!!!
Ok, now going to actually look at them. Then back to Red Steel 2.
But seriously, I hope they really did improve on The Conduit...no point in buying the same mediocre game again with a different title.
Yeah! They need to make prettier games. And all the games on my Wii are not as beautiful as the ones on my PS3 and Xbox360. Therefore they are less fun to play. If only developers would understand that technically more advanced graphics equals to a better gaming experience. Gameplay is SO overrated.
So people, sell your Wii because the graphics really aren't so pretty. You'll thank me later.

Witty stuff. If you're happy believing that great graphics and CPU power don't add tons to the gameplay experience, by all means keep your Wii-shaped blinkers on.
So many great games from this gen just weren't possible on Wii, whether because of horsepower, or its lame online system, or both. Shame I reckon.

Mate! I do sincerely believe great graphics and cpu power can add to the overall experience. As can creativity. It's mostly the artstyle that makes a game beautiful.
A lot of Wii-games look crap and are crap. No doubt. A lot games, regardless of which platform, look crap and are crap. But with the right artdirection some games on Wii stand out as being gorgeous and are a dream to play too.
I just couldn't go with missing the classics on Nintendo's systems. I'm happy with my Wii. Especially with a new Zelda, Mario and Metroid coming this year. But I am not wearing Wii-shaped blinkers. I just love great games, regardless of which platform.
'Gameplay is SO overated'?! - That's just about the most ridiculous and idiotic statement i've ever read on this site (and that's saying something.) - If fancy HD visuals make you so horny, won't don't you get rid of the gameplay altogether and just watch a movie like 2012 or whatever? - Of course graphics add to the gaming experience, but they mean nothing without entertaining and enjoyable gameplay.
Just downloaded Super Mario Kart, and in terms of fun, addictive gameplay, it dumps on a great many high-end HD offerings from a very great height.
And the way you're banging on about the Wii's so-called lack of visual capability, you'd swear it had the graphical grunt of a Casio calculator. - Titles such as Muramasa, Galaxy 1+2, Silent Hill, Dead Space Extraction, RE: Darkside Chronicles, Red Steel 2, Monster Hunter Tri, Endless Ocean 1+2, Sin and Punishment 2, MadWorld, and many others, all look great. - You might be rating a game's visuals from a technical standpoint, but to me it matters far more that a game is stylistically individual and has great art design.- Muramasa was just about the most pretty game of 2009, bar none.

Peace
Fair play then... I just wish Nintendo would stop pretending the Wii is up to the job of delivering all the gameplay experiences Nintendo fans want. Let's face it, it's not! I am looking forward to Zelda and Galaxy 2 though

I think you didn't get my point. I was being sarcastic. I totally agree with what you've said above.
I totally love Nintendo for making great and beautiful gaming experiences. I don't feel the same way about Wii Sports, Fit and such. They don't offer enough depth. Fair enough though, I consider them to be classics in their own right. I've had some fun with them but on a whole other level.
Imo, your missing out bigtime if you write of any console for such superficial reasons.
