This is the video player and not the Game, I havent even watched the video but Alan Wake will have no screen tearing, this has been confirmed by Remedy on numerous occasions. Better?
Pity both MGS and Uncharted were pretty weak video games underneath!
They were Cinematic but if the games play like cheap rip-offs of other titles then its not really setting the bar very high!

Took me about 3 days to complete it for the first time(probably about 8-10 hours).
Then it took me another day or 2 to finish it off to get the platinum trophy. Once i completed the main game the first time, i used the guide to see all the 6 different endings. I don't mind cheating once i've actually completed the game, but i won't look at guide's until i've completed it on my own first.

THE only reason why the multiplatform games have a edge on the xbox is because the lazy developers don't try to get as much out of the ps3 as possible.

Never finished it. Got to the part in what i'm guessing is prague where snake's wandering around in a trench coat looking for informants.
Besides its widely known that kojima's known for long cinematics and MGS4 is no exception. you play for about 15mins and then be treated to a lengthy cut scene.
I'd say uncharted got it right, though. Not as much as say Mass Effect 2 did. But Bioware are the masters of game narrative as far as i'm concerned.
What Remedy did with Max Payne also makes me hopeful that Alan Wake will be a briliant and engaging experience.

Well Max Payne 1 & 2 got 89 and 86 respectivley on Metacritic and Remedy hope to gain a higher score with Alan Wake.
Ill be happy to play the Game no matter what score it gets, but I have a hunch itll be looking at a score in the 90's!!

While I prefer to co-exist more-or-less peacefully as a general rule of thumb regarding the various walks of life, I do find myself increasingly agreeing with the notion that lethal violence can be a justifiable means to settle certain situations/outcomes.
The in-game action displayed in the video clip looks good. One of my first thoughts upon seeing the game play is how much better the controls, aiming, etc. would have handled on the initially planned PC version. That alone seals the deal that I will not buy this game first hand. A second hand purchase in due time methinks.
