Even before that, however, CVG's sister site Edge exclusively revealed that Microsoft have pencilled in April 8 2011 as a release date for Gears of War 3 in order to avoid clashes with Halo Reach and Natal.
Ive really enjoyed the previous Gears adverts and teasers and this one was no different, although the Game is a year away it already on my radar and cant wait to see how they finish the story!

I have to say Mark I was very shocked to hear they were making a Gears of War 3, I thought it was all nicely finished in the last one so this came as a huge surprise, almost as much as finding out Dominos is tastier than Pizza Hut (screw you Hutboyz).
That said, the four fighting side by side at the end makes me hope for four player co-op, but then they had the opportunity to do it before and never did, the damn fools.

4 player co-op in Gears 3 would be the best feature for me personally. I wouldn't care if they sacrificed graphical improvements if it had that.

I'm really excited for this game especially after seeing that trailer. No doubt the bearded guy is Dom and it's awesome to finally see female soldiers.

Excellent work Stonecold, looks like this will be an awesome game to end the trilogy.
New girl characters is a good touch! Double barreled shotgun, Cole is bald! ehhhrmm, tentacle monster was sweet as, I like the new guy too, he is going to be some competition for Marcus in the butch stakes.
EDIT - Ok so the "new guy" is just Dom with a fat ass beard and the "new girl" is Anya! hahaha.
was it me or did dom look like he's given up, his reaction to the locus that was about to kill him was "finally its over" after seeing the woman statue/ashes his face was relief and just do it.
then marcus saves him, gives him the gun and he's not get up and fight for his life, its more great im still alive, well better start killing.
his appereance is also, i give up, i dont care anymore. rough looking like ethan thomas(condemned 2)
he maybe reacting badly to his wife's death. thats what he was fighting for in the 1st place to find her. now she's gone what is his reason for fighting and staying alive. nothing has he nothing left and it looks like it shows that in his apperance and reactions to the locus trying to kill him.

I shan't comment on GoW 1 since I've only played GoW 2. That said, apparently GoW 2 is considered by many to be a superior game, so if you only play one of the two existing GoW games perhaps consider opting for GoW 2? Personally I find that GoW 2 remains one of the finest gaming experiences I've had on the Xbox 360, and I'm very much looking forward to GoW 3.
If you watch the end again, You will notice that when it says 'Brothers to The end', 'Brothers to' fades out beforehand. Hint that this could end the story? Or is it the end for Marcus and Dom?
Does the locust turn around and fight with the cogs against them tentacles when they come up through the ground? After the tentacle knocks one of the locust flying?
Nevertheless its going to be an absolute masterclass from Cliff and Epic.
Ace! what i love about Gears is the story is more emotional than Halo's (I love Halo though) and youll notice that when Dom is going to get shot he just excepts it, hes lost evrything.
It seems bigger, better and chunkier. cool.
As an educted guess, i would say there are in the glassed part of Sera, even though the game will take place in jungled islands.
