Awesome. I'm most definately looking forward to this. :D
Wipeout is great to play on your own and with friends. i've lost count of how many times I've played drink-a-long tournaments on Wipeout against people. It'll depend on what price they put it up for. Judging by the 5.99 euro for 2 maps in Killzone I'm expecting this to drop in at about 20. It's like getting the game all over again. Awesome expansion.
Whether or not my eyes can cope with another manic dose of Wipeout is another matter entirely.... I've never played Wipeout past the PS1 and PSP versions. Can someone inform me as to whether they are as good as 2097? The handeling in that game was magnificent, and I thought that Wipeout 3 never quite captured that magic. Wipeout HD is awesome , every Ps3 owner should buy it fullstop, looking forward to expansion pack Hmmm, when I finally procure a 2nd hand PS3, I may well have a look at it. Thanks. lookin forward to the new ships and tracks This game is way underpriced. One of the PS3's best. Still no sign of the taking photos during the replay option yet?
Are they ever going to add this? Would save having to pause the game at the exact second something cool happened. Great game, but the latter stages are hard as nails. True old school gaming that will have you swearing like a navvy. 2 controllers later i'm still playing this raging frenzy of a game.
as another poster once said
"readies Jedi reflexes" Many years ago, my brother once got so frustrated with a cycle of addiction and eye popping frustration with a game that he deleted it from his PC harddrive and then took the disc, handbook and box out to the garden and set fire to it.
There again, he always did have a bit of a temper. There's a Wipeout HD demo available on PSN, give it a go if you're not sure about.
As for Fury, looking forward to it. Shame, I would actually buy this if they released a boxed copy (I like to physically see the games I have in my collection. The idea of a full price game just sitting on an annoymous hard disc somewhere just dosn't do it for me. I want packaging, and an instruction manual, not to mention a physical backup incase things go wrong). |
