A new trailer of Rising Star's mental action sequel, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, has surfaced, with plenty of gameplay footage and details.
Series creator Suda 51 (voiced by some random bloke) explains the game's new gameplay features, such as being able to slice people in half, using bigger weapons and back-snapping wrestling techniques.
I'm not sure that motion+ would have worked to be honest. Its very frantic and it was the minimalistic but properly done motion controls in the original that made it control and flow so well.
Its goning to kick ass anyway. the orignals one of the few games this gen that i've started a replay of directly after finishing it.
I'll probably go for the american version of the sequel if i can get it though. Its better when theres body parts flying around. kill bill style.
I'm pretty confident that the UK two versions thing has been confirmed. I can't source you though, sorry. : (
As for this game, my my. The first was incredible. The framerate hurt me though. Really hurt me. If they fix that, and make this one even more awesome, this should be a first day purchase for me.
The game has so much style and character it's incredible.
There's a preview over on IGN(i know) says the games frame rates silky smooth. Looks like its definately gonna be one of the big games on the wii next year. Looking pretty good for the wii on the games front for the next 6 months at least come to think of it.
The game does look crazy but I was never convinced with the first game and when they took the blood out over here it was a definite no no for me. Not that blood makes a game for me but I don't condone censorship
If I ever do pick this up it'll be when it under £20..
It's hard to deny that the first game was very rough around the edges, but the incredible style and imagination shone through. I can't remember ever having played a game so clearly 'off its head'. - I hope this delivers more of the same, albeit in a much more polished way.
I agree with the above post though. Blood or no blood was no big deal for me either, but censorship is. - If the UK ends up with a toned down version that doesn't do Suda 51's original vision justice, then I may think twice about a purchase on release day.
