New FEAR 3 trailer released

Announcement trailer shows live action horror
Warner Brothers has released a nightmarish announcement trailer for F.E.A.R 3.

The trailer is largely live action with a few very brief glimpses of gameplay and, aside from some slightly dodgy voiceover work, is pretty gripping.

We have high hopes for F.E.A.R 3, not least because horror expert John Carpenter advised developer Day 1 on the general story line for the game

We reported on PC Zone's big F.E.A.R 3 reveal on Thursday.

I watched this trailer over on GT and while it confused me, the live action-ness of it was pretty awesome.

Its Becket from F.E.A.R 2 I feel sorry for, he belongs to Alma now.

I eagerly await F.3.A.R. This could be an awesome conclusion (maybe?) to the trilogy. Please be good! Smile

That was a pretty crummy trailer for a game, has to be said.

Considering it's being released in the autumn, I would expect a gameplay trailer by now.

I love John Carpenter but sadly he's not he director he once was.

Anyone getting Mega CD or a cheap ITV drama off these cut-scenes?

If Monolith aren't creating this game then I'm not interested.

Yes, I am. However, since this is a computer game and not a blockbuster box office title, I'm inclined to be more forgiving of the ham acting and props used in this video. Personally I'd have preferred if they had opted for cut-scene renderings to lay the groundwork of the upcoming story instead of "live" actors, etc. Yet since it does not reveal the actual game play itself it does not confirm nor deny the quality of the actual game which is what I'm interested in.
