Doctor Who gameplay screenshots, art released

See what a virtual Matt Smith looks like
The BBC has released artwork for its new Doctor Who PC game episodes, and you can see them all below.

As well as the standard logo, there's also images of in-game Doctor and assistant Amy pushing a car.

Oh, and one of a pretty large member of the Cybermen.

Enjoy.

I think Matt Smith is a great Dr Who (even though the first episode was a bit rubbish). The side kick girl is very attractive, but seems to lack any real character or charisma.

Anyway, the game. I get the feeling that this isn't really going to be all that, especially if the BBC are involved. It will just be a pile of politically correct crap.

This looks decent enough. And it's free. No complaints here.

Little exerpt from a previous article below...

The interactive episodes are executive produced by Steven Moffat, Piers Wenger, Beth Willis and Anwen Aspden (BBC Wales Interactive), alongside Charles Cecil - creator of the Broken Sword series.

The games are being developed by UK studio Sumo Digital. Stories and scripts are from Phil Ford (co-writer Doctor Who 'Waters of Mars') and James Moran (Severance, Torchwood Children of Earth).

wow, matt smith does have eyebrows then?! good to see a game being made of this series rather than david tennants. and charles cecil being involved can only be a good thing!

I love gaming. I adore Doctor Who. But I'm oddly indifferent towards this.

But hell, at the tempting price of free I'm in.

Screen 5 looks like Gears.

Also, I read that this game will be aimed at people who have never really used computers before. I got the impression it's going to be web based?!
