Square Enix plans 'surprise' this week

Final Fantasy XIV news on the way?
Square Enix is promising a 'surprise' for gamers this week, the company has said.

Producer Shinji Hashimoto Tweeted on the Japanese Square Enix Members Twitterfeed today:

"Good morning. It's the start of a week. In Tokyo, rain has started. Please stick with us this week as well. We're readying a small surprise this week too. Look forward to it. Hashimoto."

Could this be Final Fantasy XIV news? Or perhaps some DLC for its predecessor? Or perhaps a massive letdown that'll make us look foolish for making a big deal out of it?

Stay tuned and we'll let you know...

I'm very much hoping for some Versus or Agito XIII news, personally. Especially Versus news, or maybe even some gameplay footage.

Kingdom Hearts news please...

Could this be news on a rumoured sequel to a certain fantastic DS rpg? Rumours were going around a few weeks back that a sequel could be coming for The World Ends With You. It might be a bit of a push but that would certainly be a surprise for many, and a very nice one at that.

Maybe a Kingdom Hearts game with a twist, where you could MURDER all the Disney characters with a sharpened toothbrush? I'm sure they're good games, but Disney characters? Behave yourself.

The news is a downloadable version of FF13 for 360 owners weighing in at a whopping 18GB on xbl.

360 120GB hd owners will love the fact that they can finally play the version(not heavily compressed)that the ps3 owners have been enjoying for weeks now.

Hooray for Square enix.
