Following on from last night's excellent Super Mario Galaxy 2 trailer, Nintendo's released a batch of new screenshots and art too. Oh, how they spoil us.

The last footage of the game was of course released from Nintendo's media summit last month and is brilliant.

It's due out on June 11 in the UK. Read our hands-on Mario Galaxy gameplay preview if you haven't already.

Noooooooo, the remote controlled ball is back! I must prepare for the oncoming frustration it will inevitability cause (fingers crossed Manta ray surfing doesn't return).

While I have finished the game, I still have loads of worlds I have not gotten around to trying out. Gonna have to get those done myself.

Got all 242 stars. (yes, there's a secret world after obtaining 120 stars with both Mario and Luigi)

It's not that hard, except for Luigi's purple coins. That one nearly drove me mental.

The remote controlled ball just takes some practice, like the mantra ray.

Whatever people may say, regarding SMG and the Wii, this game rocks and is oozing with quality.

The sequel will be solid as well.

Whoever thinks differently is wrong.

That's a fact.

I normally allow people to have their own opinion, but when it comes to this game, there's no tolerance for critisism. Wink

SMG rocks!
Bring on the sequel!!!

The first 3 drawings does really show the potential of how Mario can look if produced on similar hardware to the ps3.

Ill be renting this one me thinks, im never bothered with collecting everything in a game anyway.

The first galaxy was brilliant, loved every minute of it.

Although I did enjoy the first Wii Mario title, for some reason I'm finding it hard to work up any excitement about this one. What the hell is wrong with me!??
