Surely this can't be an official video if they're slating the blue shel... Question

Whats wrong with the PAL version then?
Charlie Bell on 1 Apr '10
"Before the Blue Shell was invented..."
I'm sold!
Although seriously, the PAL conversion better not be awful here. We've waited long enough for it to be released.

That is a sweet little video.......only if they did ads like that on TV for premier VC titles, puts them more out for people to know about.

No thanks nintendo, I already brought it once on the SNES. I'm not giving you new money for old rope.

only777 ur a disagrace to do what u did having it on PS3 there are very few crimes i don't mind in gaming, but to effectly steal mariokart which is so rich in Nintendo history and was the game the pretty much singlehandly gave me the one more go syndrome,it reinvented mulitplayer that hundreds or millions play to day it was the template people still use to day in all genres, and it should only be played on a nintendo console,if playstation fans want a mariokart syle game they got choice u got, kandicoot u got sega all star racing which i got on wii.but anyway by first reaction when i saw is i could now get rid of my snes which is locked away under the bed coz its the reason i kept the console, and my first reaction halleluja p.s don't care what version still better than most racers today Very Happy

no noob or whatever u name is,i'm saying it like any nintendo proud owner would,we don't ever cry we don't have mgs or halo we let u have ur games but mariokart is ours and should be
stormchasing1000 on 1 Apr '10
Yes, but Only 777 has already owned Super Mario Kart - Why would he want to BUY it again? Or, why should he have to? I still have my boxed SMK in the attic and I also have it on my ZSnes emulator for the PC (for my convenience) which gives me the game I already have but with improved resolution, online play and more.

If the Wii port was to at least provide the features available through emulation that I've mentioned, then yes, Nintendo could rightly justify making gamers pay for the game again. But, if they are just doing a straight port with 50Hz, black borders and everything, why would anyone in their right mind who has already owned the game actually buy it?

Is this really that upsetting to you? Or is it merely the fact that he was doing exactly what I do on the PS3 instead of a PC?
Noobsaibot on 2 Apr '10
Lol, those high quality cut scenes show how low-res the game is, they could of upscalled the gane a bit.
nuggit3000 on 2 Apr '10
Ok i'd admit it was becasue it was done on a Ps3 mariokart on sony its sickening keep ur own games, u try and destroy the company that the game is based on and then u copy steal or whateva analogy u want to use for ur own gain,if u own it on then Snes great most people did then if u did u should of waited for the VC version or wait til nintendo the platform holder to possible update it.

I didn't steal anything, I already brought the SNES Cartridge. If I choose to make a back-up of it for my own personal use, then thats up to me.
UK law says I can.
But just to anoy you check this youtube video out, this will make a Nintendo fan cry:
