The frustration of being behind the rest of the world continues, but Sony has at last brought the Star Wars and Ghostbusters goodies to the UK PlayStation Home.
The Ghostbusters Firehouse personal space will go live today (almost a year behind the US), along with a bunch of Star Wars stuff that the US got last month.
You'll have access to Star Wars themed t-shirts and caps, full costumes for the Stormtrooper, Clone Trooper and Imperial Officer, and three statues to put in your personal space. Oh, and the black Lightsaber, of course.
Elsewhere in today's update will be costumes from Monty Python and Alien vs Predator, and a Siren: Blood Curse space. Hit the link below for more info on those.
I haven't tried home for about 8 months, i got slightly excited when i read the star wars bit thinking that you could play the old classic arcade game from within the 'home' program.
I should have known not to expect something as funky as that being linked with 'home'. Star wars outfits, good lord!
A quick look through your post history reveals that you have posted this on no less than 3 Home related stories.
Look....Home exists. Sony have made it, they are going to continue working on it and adding to it. You cannot change this fact.
Posting 'PS3 + Home = waste of hard disk sapce!' on every news story about new Home content will not make Sony say 'Aw....f*ck this...let's delete Home and pretend it never existed'.
So...rather than spammming every news story with 'PS3 + Home = waste of hard disk sapce!' why not either a) say something interesting, or b) not post on such stories at all?
I like to think of it as a little strap line that I've created for my own amusement & help illustrate the futile reality of home!
The normal reaction is "it's optional so F**$ off!" or "stop slagging of "home" if you don't like it don't use it" this is so repetitive I am merely doing the same, but without swearing like a child!
I did express another opinion in my previous statement regarding the fact that, even though I am a huge fan of Star Wars to the point of buying the rubbish that was Star Wars - Demolition (a truly awful game) that not even this loyalty could out way my general displeasure with all things "home" & I would therefore not buy it.
Your statement, chubster, is even less relevant to this thread as it is merely a snipe at me & my "home" equation.
Will you be downloading anything detailed above or just checking my previous posts for the foreseeable?

That is such an American term.
'bunch'
Like (in an American accent): "There's a whole bunch of tickets left for the show"
"I gotta whole bunch of rewards on Xbox Live"
"I saw a whole bunch of different doughnuts down the candy store"
But U suppose you need the 'whole' to make it really authentic
anyways, scrap home already. i hate it, all the money goes into home instead of making psn better... only ones who use home is girls and fags, and they dont buy games , they only play home,. sony start paying attention to ur average consumer!
Most of home is gash, but I do recommend playing the siren blood curse space. Play the game with the lights off and tell me u don't get a wee bitty scared
