New Pure Football trailer and screens arrive

Thank God for referees
Ubisoft's released a new trailer and five screens for their contribution to football gaming, Pure Football.

The game seems to have a philosophy that's closer to FIFA Street than FIFA 10 with stretched out players pushing and flooring their opponents without remorse or consequence.

This looks like arcade crap. Also, i would sack the groundsman cause that grass is to long.

When I heard Ubisoft where making a football game I thought it would be a FIFA/PES standard of game! But what is this tosh? Sorry but these games don't do it for me! there designed for non-football fans who find it funny taking each other out! as thats all the game shows is players tackling each other!

My prediction - Poo!

Looks lame to be honest.

Well that has just wiped out my interest.

I HATED FIFA Street and this looks like one of those souless arcade-style footy games.

What I want is a real football simulation, which I was hoping Ubisoft would go for. But oh well...

I think it's good that UbiSoft are making this, because it's about time that PES and FIFA got some competition.

I must admit that I was hoping for something like Actua Soccer or Adidas Power Soccer - this doesn't look too impressive, but you never know.

For me, it's all down to how scoring is handled. There needs to be a certain challenge and an addictive quality to them - where you're constantly trying to score better and more inventive goals.

It'll be worth keeping an eye on this, to see how it pans out. I can't see it seriously challenging PES or FIFA just yet, but it'd be nice to have another contender out there.

Smile

This looks awful, the collision detection in the trailer is shockingly bad.

I never thought I'd say it but it looks like Ubi have produced an even worse version of Fifa Street Shocked
