Modern Warfare 2 decoded

Find out what "tangosucker" actually means...
OXM has translated the foreign sayings in Modern Warfare 2, including some of the English military jargon - so we can finally find out what "tangosucker" actually means.

With Modern Warfare 2 spanning Brazil, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan and Moscow (not to mention the Russians invading the US), there's a lot of international jargon flying round.

OXM has translated the bulk of what you hear during the game, most of which understandably translates to "target destroyed", "throwing stun grenade" and the like.

But interestingly enough, there's also a small voice-acting error in Arabic that has been picked up on.

Tangosucker, means you've just been slapped in the face by a fat man with orange make-up all over his body.

That just is not really true. They might have killed more British soldiers in the gulf war than the enemy did but blue on blue incidents occur in pretty much every war whether the Americans are in it or not. Also unless you have been on the battlefield with a US soldier I find it hard understand how you can say that their aim is no good. They certainly have the skill and their attitude is pretty great too. The problem is when you compare them to the British army they may not look quite as disciplined or skilled, but you are comparing them to possibly the best trained army in the world. When compared on a world level I would say that they come a close second to the British. The aiming skill of the British armed forces comes from the fact that we can't afford to wast as much ammo as the US (so on shot one kill is drummed in for cost reasons) and no one is allowed to use telescopic sights until they have mastered the iron sights where as far as I know the US army trains with telescopic sights from day one.
