Uncharted 2 has emerged as the bookies' favourite for the GAME award at the BAFTAs - ahead of Activision's mega-selling Modern Warfare 2.
Bookmakers Victor Chandler has released odds for the GAME Award, with Uncharted 2 is leading the way at 6/4. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is second favourite for the award at 9/4.
Other leading contenders for the award are Batman Arkham Asylum, Assassin's Creed II, Wii Sports Resort and Legend Of Zelda Spirit Tracks.
The GAME award is the only BAFTA prize to be voted for by the public. The GAME British Academy Video Game Awards will take place in London on 19th March.
Peter Laverick, marketing director of Victor Chandler, said of the odds:
"Unchartered 2 is a very strong favourite at 6/4 and we've already taken numerous four figure bets on it, for those looking for an outside bet we have seen support for FIFA 10 at 33/1. It's always tricky offering odds on a public vote so we'll be keeping a close eye on the money rolling in."
Neil Ashurst, head of UK PR for GAME said:
"We've already seen huge interest from all over the world in this year's award with people campaigning online for their favourite title. As the deadline looms closer, I would urge all gamers to cast their vote at www.baftagameaward.com and make sure their voice is heard."
Slightly on-topic. I went to order this last night and obviously checked a few sites to get the best price. I checked GAME and they'd sold out of new copies and somehow that justified them in selling pre-owned copies at Ł39.99!
I do hope Uncharted gets it, best game i have played for quite some time - not to hard, great pacing, fantastic dialogue and probably the best looking game about.
