I'd like to see new game modes, in game clan ladders, promimatey chat....obviously there won't be chnges it will yet again be the same cod with new guns and maps...MEH
I want destructable environments. For example, i could blow a wall up, and use it as cover, or climb up it and use it as a sniping point. It needs longer levels for single player. WAW is much better than MW2 for online multiplayer, so i hope they dont change it that much. I want improved graphics and lots of nudity.......female nudity that is....
It will probably be the same as WaW but in Vietnam, cause Activision wont let Treyarch do anything different and they dont want to. The only thing im looking forward to is a couple of Zombie maps which should be a arcade game anyways. soz for the rant
Yeah I have to agree after playing the Bad Company 2 demo, it's just such more enjoyable online expierence! I like to varie my attacks so sometimes I will camp and snipe and other times I will sneak into buildings and take out the enermy! with COD its just running around blasting people, there isn't any skill or teamwork involved! What COD need to do is take a leaf out of dice's book, and build bigger, destructable levels, giving the player new expierences every time they play a match!
Plus why does the COD franchise have to be about soldiers? can't they do a game on SWAT, Riot Police, undercover cops? just an idea! still can call it COD cos it is still classed as a call of duty! maybe call it COD: Urban Warfare lol
I would like to see a lot done with the next game!
MW2 is what I play most online but that's because it's one of the most competitive experiences online atm! What Treyarch need to do is prove the critics wrong and do an amazing game that competes if not out does IW attempts!
First of all, I would love a bit of a covering system, something comparable to Killzone 2's! It's annoying that a mans best cover is lying on the ground!
I would like a leveling system kinda like mags where you can select what you want to upgrade as opposed to have to get to level 48 to unlock a certain gun etc.
The return of co-op story mode! The lack of this in MW2 is a big kick in the ass! If not co-op main story then a side story that run parallel to the main story!
More character customisation, so as opposed to just customising your name you can actually change certain aspects of your character, clothing, gear, face build etc...
Overall they need to do something a bit different from what's seem to become the norm of releasing a new game with only different guns, maps and story!
Oh and IW should release maps from CoD 4 to play in multiplayer in MW2... and let them be free!
A quote from the OXM article . "Will Pack In DLC This has been a huge money-spinner for Activision. The map packs for World at War was something of a masterclass in how to do DLC - frequent bursts of quality DLC will keep fans shelling out again and again".
Well i didn't see the way Activision's handling of map packs as some bench mark on how to do dlc far from it.I saw a manipulation of customers been slowly forced out of a online game they paid for with a subscription based bi-monthly episodic mini game that should not of in my humble opinion have been tied to the original games MP maps. This was bad for customers who bought the maps and those who did not.And this is the reason i never bought MW2 and a reason i will not be buying this. And one of the reasons i no longer break my back to buy games on release any more.
I'd like the ability to see the average age of people playing it on-line, and the ability to have their prejudices flash up on screeen. This way I can tell when I'm being shot at by a homophobic neo-fascist 8 year old.
Vietnam will be an interesting take. Don't really remember being another game being set there. But more I think of COD 7 and Vietnam , the more I think Rambo for some reason. And has everyone notice how most games publishers aka Activision are talking DLC before actual games. It seems DLC seems to be discussed before the actual game.
