FIFA World Cup 2010 screenshots

John Terry nowhere to be seen
EA's put out some World Cup 2010 screenshots which show off, among other things, Wayne Rooney's beautiful blue eyes.

The game - full title EA SPORTS 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa - will arrive on April 30 in Europe, with the US getting it three days earlier.

All 199 teams that took part in qualifying will be included, as well as a full online World Cup tournament.

More details here.

Ahhhh my eyes, Rooney burnt my eyes! There is no need at all to have such an extreme close up of a digitally rendered chav face, I was almost sick in my tea.

Now imagine that pretty face in 3D! Laughing

Forget JT, looks like the new captain got merked!

Nice to see Lennon in there!

That pic reminds me of a mirror I saw in our local city centre with a pic of Wayne Rooney on it. Why would someone want a mirror that, when you look into it, you see Rooney staring back at you. Aaargh! Smile

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD I had no idea this was going to be such a ground breaking game. I never thought that in my lifetime we'll reach the technical standards of rendered nasel hair but there it is!

What's in this game that couldn't just be a DLC add on for FIFA 10?

What's in this game that couldn't just be a DLC add on?

A £39.99 retail price tag?

I won't be paying £39.99 for it, that's for sure, in fact I'd be begrudged to part with 800 micro-points for it.

I was talking more about the content of the game than the price tag, clever clogs.

I know, I was just thinking from an EA perspective, the thing is a lot of people are likely to buy it even though it could very easily be put into DLC. All they’d need to do would be to create the World Cup competition structure and then create some South African stadia with suitable fans.

they won't though, too much money to make from it as it'll be bought in droves!

just wait till after the the world cup then it will be 20 quid everywhere
rigby2447 on 11 Feb '10
Looks like there will be plenty in there to make it more than DLC, but what gets me is a lot will go too.

Sure we will have 199 international teams but it won't have league teams - at least the normal fifa has both.

Also, no manager mode.

This will sell and at a high price so I can't see it having an RRP under £39.99ish but it would be nice.

Well done EA this could have been a £5 to £10 DLC. Sad

Nice to see John Terry isn't the only one to get pleasure out of screwing people! Laughing
