Bungie has ruled out any possibility of it creating a 3D Halo game in the future.
Speaking to CVG ahead of tomorrow's X10 event in San Francisco, Bungie community boss Brian Jarrad said the concept of a 3D Halo title - whether an original title or a remake - was not something that interested the studio.
When asked if the concept of revisiting the franchise with 3D or other technology, Jarrad replied:
"Not from us. I don't think that would be something our team would find interesting - to go back and sort of [revisit Halo]. There's a lot of feeling that Reach is sort of a final conclusion to our Halo saga and I think people will be excited to move forward and try our next big thing afer that."
Next big thing, after that, hey?

My money is still on Reach not being the last Halo game Bungie make. Maybe they'll take a decent break from it, but I'm sure they'll make another for the 3rd Xbox.
