Majesco has announced what it calls "the most realistic paintball experience" for Wii, PS3 and 360.

Hastings is the most bruise-covered person in the sport and the most successful name in the sport. We've never heard of him but who are we to argue? We've only been paintballing a few times and it HURTS.

"Greg Hastings Paintball 2 introduces more than 10 single and multiplayer game modes each staged in all-new, paintball locations based on actual fields around the world," says the publisher.

"Featuring three new event branches - Tournament Speedball, Recball, and Tournament Woodsball - the challenge will be incredibly intense as players test their skills on multiple fields where the weather conditions are constantly in flux."

Anyone out there up for a paintball game? Kind of takes the fun (or sting) out of the real thing.

Sounds utterly novel. Paintball is one of several activites that is better done physically, and airsofting trumps it anyways.

why waste time with a paintball game. proper paintball is alot more fun, and you get to appreciate the pain of getting shot in the back of the head and in the balls

Like any sport game I'd imagine anyone interested in it would play it. Playing football is more fun but people still play Fifa and Pes.

Played the first one multiple times at the local Paintball club/field. Can't compare to real life paintball AT ALL.

The first game on the original xbox played alot like Halo CE and surprisingly was a pretty decent game so don't be so quick to dismiss it or judge, it really has a (smallish) chance of being awesome.

It won't matter how well designed it is, the developers are entering the same market area as Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Team Fortress 2, so it's bound to sell few copies.
