Halo Legends screens - exclusive

Check out stills from new anime movie here
Anticipation is building for new anime movie Halo Legends - which will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray next Monday.

The collection seven short films are set in the Halo science-fiction universe and were created by Japanese production houses Bones, Casio Entertainment, Production I.G., Studio 4C, and Toei Animation.

Creator of anime classics Appleseed and Appleseed Ex Machina, Shinji Aramaki, served as Legends' creative director.

CVG's managed to get our hands on some exclusive shots from the series, which you can see below.

While you're here, why not enter our pretty incredible Halo Legends competition?

Not only could you win a copy of the Blu-Ray Halo Legends, but also an Xbox 360 Elite and EVERY Halo game ever released...

These studios must be really cash-strapped to accept such a lame commission.

These studios must be really cash-strapped to accept such a lame commission.

Whatever.

If anything this will almost certainly be very lucrative for them.

I enjoy the Halo fiction and I enjoyed the episodes I saw on Halo Waypoint.

Do we get Halo Wars in this competition?

Giving away a Blu-Ray with a 360? Gave me a laugh anyway.

These studios must be really cash-strapped to accept such a lame commission.

Why is that? Multiple of the animators and makers of the anime series love the Halo series. I'll most definitely buy this, especially after watching The Package on Halo Waypoint!

Exactly my point Razz But yeah ok, Halo's just not my thing.

F**k the haters, quite frankly. Whining scum are just jealous that whatever franchise they like doesn't get the same attention. If they weren't jealous they wouldn't be here moaning in the first place, would they?

You don't see anyone bitching about the Uncharted comics, do you?

The CG shots look very slick. I am guessing that short will all be like that. Looks like The Halo series got the Animatrix Treatment. From what I have seen of Halo (Not much to be honest) It's perfect for an Anime series/movie.

Makes me curious as to whether they will do the same thing with Left 4 Dead. I would love an anime of that Smile
